I'm glad I found your Channel like I said that was definitely a treat watching both those birds even attempting to take off in that weather. You did amazing considering all The nasty variables that you have to contend with like I said I wouldn't even consider try attempting that I'd be really worried however just being able to witness how it would be is everything.
You are a gentleman to give such nice feedback, I’m jealous of you having the larger version of this plane. I think it maybe more fun and a bit more capable in the wind around these parts of the 🌎 I got a great laugh from your commentary about my flying style. You are probably correct that I take a few too many chances, but as the years creep by I find myself becoming a little more relaxed about taking ‘ small ‘ risks and it definable makes my flying sorties less predictable but also enjoyable.a happy flying
I'm really raptured by the Raptur H650 nearly as fast as a rocket Cannot understand spoken English but the written words ✍of the transcript are very good for me👍. Probably, your followers are the chosen ones 🤠 who want to know the full truth I'm glad to see your planes flying under windy condition You are a good pilot but able to understand beginners like me 🛩 Best regards Matthias, the quirky German
LOL, me Ole Bogman! Looked like you'd just about bin dodging the praties gettin' blown off the feckin' fields there first up Dave! 😜😁 Surprised that you couldn't get it up (off the mown grass) there since we're not having any trouble taking off/landing from amongst our rocks and burrs. 😉 With the linked rudder and smaller size it is a handful in winds like that though - especially as there's currently no chance of using a Multi Radio. However we enjoy the ruggedness of the little divil. 4 of 'em on site now!😊
Hey me ole f.art, thanks for your kind words 🤪. As for’ my failure to launch’ what can I say, us Irish aren’t as hardy as you ozzy buggers haha, I just tried some water launches today with it, what a disaster, a light breeze kept flipping it n I have dis covered that the electrics are not 100% waterproof, watch out for the video for some laughs… it might be the prompt to replace the fc n esc, maybe . Thanks again for your comments
@@rcpilots1291 Thanks for the warning Dave! I'm afraid that our days of taking a morning dip in the billabong are long past now. (Even before the crocs started moving back in!!!) 😱🙄😉 Oh and B-me! The news this morning is just featuring a story from down among the "Mexicans" here about some "Jaws" relative starting on the surfer hors d'oeuvres yesterday! 😰
My friend you are absolutely nuts however I commend you for getting it up there and flying that h650 in that gusting wind is simply amazing. That plane flies amazing in Little to average wind and also in a little bit of wind as well but the wind that I'm hearing in that video is atrocious I cannot believe that you were able to keep it up there respectively that's amazing you are able to keep it up in hurricane winds like that LOL. It's definitely very nice to see that you are able to do that. The grass is too long that's for damn sure I don't have any issues on shorter grass off water and off cement at all it does it very easily however thicker grass if I do get it to start moving rather quickly it usually slips to one side and then finally on its back shortly after. This video was an actual treat to watch that h650 in action like that. I have the bigger model as well and although it being larger I wouldn't even attempt to put it up in that wind I'd be terrified because of the speed and not only that it would take one gust to flip that thing upside down regardless on the torque and speed it has it would most likely be three concessions over within a few seconds LOL.
@@hassanhammoud2243 I agree that is a really fun plane, in calm conditions it flys great and looks great, initially I made the mistake of flying in a regular sized field not realising that our needed a large turning circle due to the unusual servo set up, but I tweaked the position of the clevises to get more aileron/ elevator throws. It’s a bit unpredictable but definitely makes it’s turns sharper. While the wind sounds very bad, it actually was not as bad as it sounds You 100% correct about thick grass bring too much, but I found that using a 3s 450 mah battery gave it enough ‘bang’ To overcome this. I will be uploading a brief video soon showing how it handled the 3 s power. Cheers 👍
The rudder is directly linked to the aileron but yes you can do limited acrobatic moves with the gyro turned off. I made a video of the plane with a flysky radio/ receiver, it flies much better compared to stock set up

Haha class bud. I got 1 of these on the way looking forward to it looks good fun. Fair play flying in that wind i love a bit of wind surfing 🔥🔥🔥👊🏼
Can you move the rods on the horn to get more throws?
@@propgear123 yes, you can move the rods for more manoeuvrability but it is still a bit limp when turning. Best of luck

Hey Matthias, kind words from you and big thanks for your comments. I hope you are enjoying your flying time .
Yours is dodgy or you can't fly. I have two and two large ones mine turn on a dime with nothing adjusted.
I’m glad to hear that, happy flying
