We used to always be away for Easter and we made it special when the kids were younger. Now they both live away from home and we just had a quiet day at home with our usual weekly family facetime .
HI Lisa, I've come across your videos in the last couple of months and I love watching them. I listen whilst working from home and it's great company, like listening to a friend chat away. I'm interested to know more about the travel agency course that you did so if you're able to send a link or tell me more about that, I'd be really interested to hear more.
Hi Nicola, thanks so much for your watching along, I really appreciate it ❤️

One! I don’t believe it! We got fined too last year for being in a bus lane when we got completely lost in Manchester! There was no clear indication of it. Ring a bus lane too and had photo of the car taken as evidence.. 😱
It’s frustrating isn’t it?! 🙁
Any day that you can watch the sunset is a great day.
🌅🌄
Easter is nothing special in our house. It was different when our kids were younger but not now
It changes doesn’t it?! ❤️
Lisa have you ever been to the Trafford Centre.its amazeing.you go to the central part of it and it feels like your on a ship.the area was made to look like decks on a ship. The ceiling lights up.and you see all these pretty stars.the dome changes into different colours.i went when they first opend it. But now it is trully spectacular. I went with my sister.she loved it very luxurious and has a lot of Chinese and American themed shops and rresteraunts and cafes.you must go big fountains an odeon and Egyptian rooms.its beautiful the second largest place for shopping.i would love to go back and see it again.
Appeal against it, as you weren't aware it was a Bus Lane and you were new to the area only visiting
This happened to us arriving into Glasgow at night
Hi guys, please would you give me more information regarding the travel agency. We are a family similar to you who love to travel. Hope you all had a great weekend. X

I love that store - i've been to the one in Amsterdam and there's one in London too now!
I would LOVE if music was played in public restrooms! Something tranquil
I agree 😊
Hi Lisa Driving through Manchester can be a nightmare, we usually have a family get-together on Easter Sunday and have a roast dinner, then exchange Easter Eggs. Not had an Easter Egg hunt for awhile. love to all xxx
Your family get together sounds lovely 😊
Re Easter - it was never was special when I was a kid. Then when I had small children we always had an egg hunt and meal at my parents. But now the kids are teens and my parents older -
We don’t do anything anymore. The only time we do much is Xmas day! :/
Its fun when they are little isn’t it?! 😊
When my daughters were growing up, we had lots of fun baking bunny cakes, making silly Easter bonnets, dyeing Easter eggs, and doing egg hunts. They outgrew all that and this year, we just did breakfast at a restaurant as neither are fans of traditional Easter dinner foods. I was sad when they outgrew all of our Easter traditions, though. Part of growing up, I guess.
I feel exactly the same ❤️
Pps - sorry - three comments 😂… can I have info about the travel agency stuff?
Hi lovely!! Of course.
Did you want to message me on IG please?
Ideally the @adeandlisaadventures account. Thanks x
We live in the Manchester area and we still went down Oxford road bus lane! A beautiful little place just outside Manchester is worsley, it’s a really pretty old village along the canal.
Weve done the same we love the canal in summer
Our Easter was at home together. The kids had their eggs each and I cooked everyone a yummy Easter roast dinner. 🙂🐰🍫🍴
Sounds just like ours 😊
The sostrene and Grene shops are wonderful I first came across them in Norway and seen one in Chester when we were on holiday a couple of years ago and couldn't believe it great video Lisa xx
Thanks Isobel. Hope you had a lovely Easter ❤️
We love Sostrene Grene shops (I think we discovered them in Chester and thought it was the only one 😁)
I don’t think there are too many of them x
When our kids were young a good friend would have a kids Easter hunt and they now do it for their grandkids
That’s such a lovely thing to do 😊
Hi guys ❤ we make Easter 🐣( egg hunt ) and celebrations a big deal in our house ( very much like your way 😊 ❤ we make memories and will do for as long as we can, he’s 12 at the moment and we all love it ❤ love all your vlogs keep up the great work and content
Definitely appeal. We have had fines several times in places - such as London - where we aren’t used to all the rules. Managed to have it reduced or just wiped off so always try.
Premium Inns and other chains are great value unless you are disabled. Most of them have showers over the bath which are not ideal. Suites often have a shower cubicle but coast more and usually at the furthest point from the lift.
Yeah Easter is not a big deal in our house. Doesn’t bother me at all. We live in Bristol so have been to Gloucester services often. It’s amazing
In your last vlog you talked about world map wallpaper, Dunelm do world map pin board or a picture, if you don't want a full wall
You will have to go to the Manchester Christmas market it’s spread out in different area of the City. I think you’d also like Liverpool. Many historical buildings and museums as well as great shopping. We have a Sostrene Grene in Sheffield. Bought a terracotta pot and saucer yesterday quite a good size for only £2.68 And some beads for bracelet making.
I got my daughter a Lego bouquet for her birthday she’s put it in one of those fish Glug vases. Looks so cool!
Thanks for the tip! I’ve heard it’s a good one.
Beads are a good idea. I didn’t think to grab some of those.
I keep hearing good things about Liverpool 😊
I love the shops you were walking by that were under a screen top with videos. That was interesting to see. What is that area callled?
We had Easter with our children with Easter baskets of candy and toys, and we hunted Easter eggs. I added the plastic eggs with chocolate in them, but we colored the boiled eggs and hunted those, too. When I was a child we hunted colored eggs and chocolate in baskets. We always have gone to Church on Easter mornings with our children, well every Sunday, but Easter and Christmas were very special. Now I have little grandchildren, and I give them an Easter decorated bag with toys and chocolate. Not a lot, because my daughter doesn't want Mimi to outdo their Mom and Dad for Easter! We live near family, so we have Easter dinner together and the grandchildren still have their egg hunts. Our church has a huge egg hunt on the Saturday before Easter, so usually the kids go there and also lots of neighborhood children. A special treat for them all.
The Grapes Pub in Gee Cross,Hyde
Tebay services is like the Gloucester one, sooo nice! We have to stop there every journey we pass it.
Nice to hear there are others like this 😊
Never had an easter hunt.
