I lost my childhood best friend to an overdose. I loved her more than anything in the world, but I could never tell her. This song reminds me viscerally of her.
The song stirs up a magical emotion when I hear this song all of sudden I want to be honest and true to my self.
I love her voice...it's so heart felt and simply beautiful with no add on's. True talent and I hope she has a very successful career.

I saw her a couple of weeks ago in San Francisco and when she sang this song, I thought my head was going to blow off from how much emotion she put into it. She puts on an amazing show.

I'm a big old tart at the best of times, but this was a moving performance. You can tell she was doing her best to hold back her emotions. There must have been a real Laura. Half way through I thought why the hell do so many people listen to radio 1 (UK BBC) and watch X Factor?!
Matthew Dixon Laura is/was one of her friends, famous friend and i think it was about her friends depression surrounding her career/fame. My memory could be blurry though.
