Considering how limited my time is these days (work, family life, etc…) I can barely pump out a stream but once or twice a week. Everything I do is live, so I’d only be using half of what makes YT great (pre-recorded content and outreach). It’s tough to justify the move to YT now, but might be more viable in the future as I get older and have more time to branch out. Like you said, the best part of Twitch is the camaraderie and it’s something that I think I’d dearly miss. The engagement and FS community may be smaller, but it has been so welcoming, and I’m blown away by how many great people I’ve met. I’m humbled and fortunate to have what I have on Twitch and that’s good enough for me!
Hi Hochmania! I’ve followed your journey on twitch and here on UA-cam. Happy for your continued streams and content (these kinds of videos are interesting to me). Different platforms have their pros and cons, but I will say twitch is starting to get a bit irritating with ads that show for people (even when folks don’t care if they monetize streams). I don’t know what the future is for streaming flight sims, but the more options that are out there, the more competition will breed better results for content creators. Thanks again for your content and have a great day.
I am so happy that you made the switch to YT! I remember when you first started on Twitch. Soon thereafter I found them, as both a streamer and watcher, quite a chore, and left soon thereafter. It looks like you're doing quite well on YT and I wish you nothing but continued success! And it's nice to see you producing regular videos in addition to streaming; something Twitch will never make possible. Cheers!
The Twitch theatre mode is what I mostly missed when watching UA-cam streams. They used to have a nice layout with their UA-cam gaming channel but that's long gone.
I made the cut! haha I have only just really got started on Twitch and still getting comfortable with it to some degree so to move to something new and essentially start again is a difficult sell...especially when Live Streams are hit or miss as you say.
I don’t stream, but as a viewer I find the UA-cam far easier and simpler to use and navigate, at least on mobile. The internet versions are similar, but I prefer the UA-cam app to the Twitch app.
The Twitch Directory is the most amazing thing for medium large/large streamers but is completely and utterly garbage for literally the remaing 99% of streamers I couldn't fathom streaming on that platform as an potential inspiring streamer starting off in current day Also I prefer UA-cam streams over Twitch cause I cant stand the enormous amount of ads that platform shoves to non subs Ps I dont even know why this video was recommended to me as I dont watch flight sim content... (Then again one of my friends loves playing this game so idk) Pss. I wish you the best on here as Long Term UA-cam is the play full stop as all my friends who does UA-cam have told me

Good point, I forgot about that.

Starting over stinks, no way to sugar coat that. It's never easy to get a new set of laddles and jellyspoons to come watch

It seems a lot of people really prefer the YT app
UA-cam for me .As a viewer i find it easier to search and obtain what i want to view and know i can watch it today or 6 months from now.
That's a great point! Thanks for watching
