The event has glitched on me twice thus far. The body either disappears or the gun does
It works on Xbox series X. You have to switch to the public lobby at 20:00 (8pm) and keep trying until 6am. Took me at least 15 lobby switches to get it. Got the pistol first try.😊🎉🎉
The event happens in invite only lobbies too.
Idk why everyone else is struggling so much but I got it very first try hope and pray yall get it gl yall 💯

December 22, 2024. I can confirm that your method works! I got it on my third attempt, the first two glitched out and the “collect the WM29” option wouldn’t appear at all. This pistol is fantastic, it inflicts almost double the damage than the AP Pistol, it also has more accuracy and range. You give up firing rate but the balance is great. This makes the WM29 is useful pistol for Heists or many different types of missions. I love this gun 😎

Ayooo check it, there is a new skin for the gun but since and only since u already have it you can't get the skin nor the gun gives u a wallet

Would be nice to know how to get it if you don't have an opressor? I can steal a heli, but if I need to respawn to a new session to get event to spawn, lose heli. :(
Seems like there was another glitch with that event where those 3 characters were aiming their guns at you when you were first landing but none of them were shooting at you.
ya the event in general is pretty glitchy but they were shooting me in the clip I just took them out fast but I had a clip after I didn’t include in the video where they just stared at me the whole time 😂

I think it happens at night only and u r switching lobbies in day time so it won't spawn
His technique succeeded for me on ps4- go for the plaza from 8pm to 6am, set your last location around the building and switch public sessions until past 6am -rinse and repeat

I got this was it 2 years ago or last year when it first ever came out but I got told you get a livery for it this year obviously you don't

Update: After trying several more tests, someone else completed the challenges and spawned in the pistol. Then I was able to get it to, and it was all good

For me it spawns i just go at least 500m from Weazel Plaza from 8PM to 6AM and switch to public lobbyes till u find blue dot on the map. I did that someone kill all of them i just go there and pickup the pistol and leave the lobby
Dude I got it to spawn over 10 times but every time there's the blue dot it doesn't let me pick it up😑
I literally waited for 40 minutes and yet the event didn’t load
This is utterly ridiculous. I have completed the shootout myself 7 times and come in after someone else has 4 times. And it has been bugged every single time.
