I can't agree with you more! They are the perfect band for my split-musical personalities. Thanks to them, my rock side and my pop side can now live happily ever after
Try to scream it you if u can I dont guess that u make it better or better go to listen ABR august burn red if u dont know or bet go to listen your justin b..
August burns red doesn't have that good screams either. The entire metalcore genre doesn't have that much power to the screams usually. Deathmetal, deathcore, and slam have the powerful screams and gutturals. Its just a fact.
I freaked out when i heard Tyler scream lol i didnt think he could scream so well. If he did it every now and then , it would make the songs alot more interesting to listen to.
For all the people saying it's poppy and stupid like radio songs. Yes they use catchy hooks, yes Tyler has the voice and melody of an R&B singer. But would these lyrics ever get played on the radio? Would anyone want their kids to hear "You'll die in the sheets with the coke on your chest and his lips on your cheek" at the middle school dance? These lyrics are honest. It's not about drinking, womanizing, and having a good time. These lyrics examine hard truths which actually make you think. How many songs on the radio do that?
I dont understand what you're saying. Are you saying that the lyrics in this song are too inappropriate for the radio? Because if so, you're a fucking idiot. Do you not realize every pop song on the radio talks about drugs, sex, gangs, etc..? Let's just quote some of the lines from Beyonce and Jay-z's new song called "Drunk In Love": "I've been drinking, I've been drinking I get filthy when that liquor get into me" ... "Foreplay in the foyer, fucked up my Warhol Slip the panties right to the side Ain't got the time to take draws off, on site Catch a charge I might, beat the box up like Mike" (In case you dont know, "box" is another word for pussy, which in case you dont know is another word for vagina, which in case you dont know is the female genitalia...) Or how about the song "Up!" by LoveRance where majority of the lyrics just say "I beat the pussy up". My wife works at an inner city school, and there are 3rd graders who sing both of these songs daily. So if you think this song isnt poppy and stupid like radio songs, than you're blind. This song literally talks about drugs and blow jobs. This is EXACTLY what would be on the radio.
And the people saying this crap are the ones who aren't supportive of Tyler or his band. He almost was done with this scene and went only to R&B. Thank god he got back with Michael and they are doing what they both love. This sound is unique and amazing. Woe is me was my favorite band and I still listen to old WIM and now I have WIM but way way better. I love every aspect of their work. Tyler loves R&B and has the voice, why can't he combine it with this? Haters gotta find something to hate.
It just kinda shows where Tyler's actual intentions for his music career lie haha. I feel like his metal career might come to a close after this, and he'll just start doing more solo work/ rnb stuffs.
Favorite track of theirs still to this day. That breakdown still hits me as hard everytime. Lyrically its a punch to the mouth. Opened for Issues with my band at the time, The New Age and they played this. When the breakdown hit, the floor erupted. Got punched in the forehead and wasnt even mad. I wouldn't expect any less out of this song and breakdown! Great show and experience!
Brandon Garcia well the album did get pushed back.. But i can respect that because they needed more time to record and to get everything just right. Hopefully their plans with the music video's they shot last week works out, Stingray Affliction clip tyler showed on instagram looks sick.
As much as i hate Michael leaving & will miss the dude (& it makes me sad for what it may mean for their friendship; Issues was their 3rd band together), i can't wait to hear Tyler bring it for this next album.
This is the type of music that fits literally every mood I have. If I'm happy it makes me happier, If I'm pissed and going through shit It gives me something I can relate to and If I'm sad it comforts me. Just all around great sound. Issues, Crown the empire and Blue Stahli are definitely my favorite bands. But I think Issues takes the top
This issues getting more serious dude!! it's like they found the balance between clean R&B style and emotional scream in their vocal... just awesome...
I'm honestly so fucking happy with this album. I was a HUGE Woe, Is Me fan back in the day when Tyler was in it, and everything until now from Issues and Woe, Is Me wasn't comparable to Number(s). If WIM stayed together this is exactly how I picture their sophomore album sounding. Great fucking job, Issues!
So fucking impressed Issues. Loved 'Black Diamonds' and this album is sounds even better so far! I love Tyler's 2nd verse the most, oh my god. It's amazing, please don't stop! The scream is what puts it all together. The build up to it, absolutely in love with this song. So happy.
I absolutely agree, the best part of the song is "Can you hear the sound of your heartbeat bumpin so loud in his car when you hitting the town, gettin around sounds so empty, but pop another pill so you won't feel guilty."
I always have heard of issues it wasn't till last week that I actually took the time to listen to them and I must say they aren't what I expected ( in a good way.) I expected them to be like OM&M , WCAR ect . but they are much better and I'm loving the genre mash up or whatever ever lol . Glad I finally checked them out because now I'm a bit obsessed with listening to them .😂💯
I personally find their sound incredible and unique, the mixing, the turntables, the screaming, the singing, it's all amazing. And if you're telling me you don't like Tyler rapping, then damn I wish you could.
thank god they still have hard songs on this album, dont get me wrong i love there music and all but i enjoy them for the heavy stuff over the angelic thing they have going on in alot of there new songs.
I'm sure a lot of people are slamming Issues for trying to blend the more 'generic and popular' music into the sub-genre of the whole Nu-Metal/Metalcore scene. To be honest, I've never seen it work so well before. It's so evident that when composing this album a hell of a lot of thought has gone in to it and the blending is immaculate. Loving these songs, stoked to get my hands on the album.
I hate when people call this stuff unique, or groundbreaking, or revolutionary in terms of music. Don't get me wrong- I love Issues, and I think they're excellent at what they do. One of my favorite groups, in fact. But this isn't groundbreaking. This genre combination has been around for years (Not even referring to general Nu-metal, here). Doesn't make them any less of great artists, no.
this is revolutionary stuff.. very unique band, extremely talented
I love the way the lyrics are written, it is like a rap.
Was* revolutionary
Yes SIR 👍
all of issues' songs are legit perfect. I listen to about 30 different bands and cannot say that about any other band. Issues is life.
I can't agree with you more! They are the perfect band for my split-musical personalities. Thanks to them, my rock side and my pop side can now live happily ever after
***** *bands being the key word.
i also listen to plenty of solo artists like stevie ray Vaughan, muddy waters, jimi hendrix, ed sheeran ect..
***** Jimi Hendrix wasn't a solo artist... His band was the Jimi Hendrix Experience...
Daniel Pryce i know, but its close enough
its apples and oranges...
THAT MOMENT TYLER SCREAMS.
YESSSSSSS
YESSSSSSS
A really weak ass scream
Try to scream it you if u can I dont guess that u make it better or better go to listen ABR august burn red if u dont know or bet go to listen your justin b..
August burns red doesn't have that good screams either. The entire metalcore genre doesn't have that much power to the screams usually. Deathmetal, deathcore, and slam have the powerful screams and gutturals. Its just a fact.
Tyler's little scream gave me chills.
yes it does, he should do it more. it sounded really good!!
Tylers little scream >
Omggg issues should be proud of their progress. Always my #1 favorite band.
This masterpiece just popped back into my head 7 years later😩💚
I love how the lyrics in the description tell us to two step
Me too! :D
whats a two step?
I freaked out when i heard Tyler scream lol i didnt think he could scream so well. If he did it every now and then , it would make the songs alot more interesting to listen to.
What part?
Edward Moore When he says "You'll never win, you'll never change," he screams for a brief second on 'change'.
Thanks
Caroline_The_Charmander thanks
Edward Moore You're welcome.
Issues is about to explode. Get ready guys!
Well well well
Seems like your opinion doesn't age well
Please scream more Tyler. Even if it was for a second, it was amazing.
He does it, I just can't remember which song .
***** the Langdon house he screams
not saying it sounds like sykes screams but it's a mix of singing and screaming at the same time in The Langdon House.. in my opinion.
When did he scream in this song??
Dastan Arre
***** 1:57

This is basically a pop song. It's structured exactly like a pop song and has pop vocals, heavy guitars and occasional screaming aside.
I dont understand what you're saying. Are you saying that the lyrics in this song are too inappropriate for the radio? Because if so, you're a fucking idiot. InternetCannonFodder I'm hoping, for Tyler's sake, that there is room in the world for another ridiculously talented solo artist.
im so glad tyler and michael survived the WIM bs and came out on top and even better than before
aged like milk
@strongdadenergy7586 get over yourself they can see right through you
this song slays
I was just casual with this band at first, but then this sound got me addicted. I'm so freaking excited to see them in April with CTE!
Me too
+Sarah Miles AHHHHH Same
I just saw them a couple of hours ago they kicked ass C:
+Sarah Miles I loved the show!!!
I saw them yesterday and it was wild XD
Favorite track of theirs still to this day. That breakdown still hits me as hard everytime. Lyrically its a punch to the mouth. Opened for Issues with my band at the time, The New Age and they played this. When the breakdown hit, the floor erupted. Got punched in the forehead and wasnt even mad. I like how often we get the songs. c:
im saying...it took them 6 months to release hooligans after it was recorded lol and now we get all of this sex lol
Brandon Garcia well the album did get pushed back.. But i can respect that because they needed more time to record and to get everything just right. Hopefully their plans with the music video's they shot last week works out, Stingray Affliction clip tyler showed on instagram looks sick.
Tyler screaming, something I dreamed to hear since I listen to him! Stoked for Issues!
Tyler's scream though
Erik Shaw You'll see more screaming in 2018 😀
John Doe I listened to a part of a music 4 their new album but they are differently changed! They have a surprise 4 their fans:)You'll see soon:)
As much as i hate Michael leaving & will miss the dude (& it makes me sad for what it may mean for their friendship; Issues was their 3rd band together), i can't wait to hear Tyler bring it for this next album.
I love Tyler very much, but that can't be considered as a scream ^^
This is the type of music that fits literally every mood I have. If I'm happy it makes me happier, If I'm pissed and going through shit It gives me something I can relate to and If I'm sad it comforts me. Just all around great sound. Issues, Crown the empire and Blue Stahli are definitely my favorite bands. But I think Issues takes the top
It's going to be another good year for music. :D
I like that Tyler Carter screams in this. I could get used to more of that. Sounds good.
Tyler should scream some more, I dig it!
tyler doesnt scream, bohn does
Krysta Hollomon he screamn once at the end when he says "youll never win youll never change" i think thats what hes refering to
He screamed the "You'll never change" in the middle of the song as well.
I don't want him to ruin his vocals for singing. So maybe here and there but he needs to stick to what he's great at.
DeathMiniHorse screaming doesn't ruin your vocals unless you do it wrong,, and it sounds like he's doing a good job of it
Seriously Michael goes hard on that 2nd Verse. #1 on the Album next to Sad Ghost for sure.
MmmHmm
There was nothing like this time. Nothing…
At first, I thought this sounded a little weird, but DAMN it's such a good song. I'm getting even more excited for the album.
Only just discovered Issues, but I think I like this.
Easily the best song from this lp so far and damnnnn.... Tyler's scream is fireee
Is it just me ? Tyler's scream always gets to me, its just utter perfection, and Micheal's screams are just the best
8 more days. UGH! I can't wait. And that little scream at 1:56
Favorite song on the record so far. Every time they revealed a new song i was hoping it would be this :D
1:56 Tyler screaming! Sick!
He only screams for like a second, it's not a huge deal.
MiniMugenMan chill out bro. Lots if people liked the scream. Even if it was only a few seconds
This song would've easily fit in with their EP. Great song and album. I can't wait to buy it.
Totally agree, reminds me so much of their EP, in a good way.
Just pre-ordered this album, along with their pull-over, CAN'T WAIT!
About time what took you so long?
Had to get a new credit card set up cause I moved cities (sorry for giving you my life story but you asked :P)
GutierrezAnthony at least you delivered
They are just amazing simple as that
This issues getting more serious dude!! it's like they found the balance between clean R&B style and emotional scream in their vocal... just awesome...
2013 and it feels like this song came out 1 year ago.
saw these guys 4 times already and wouldn't mind seeing them again
I'm honestly so fucking happy with this album. I was a HUGE Woe, Is Me fan back in the day when Tyler was in it, and everything until now from Issues and Woe, Is Me wasn't comparable to Number(s). If WIM stayed together this is exactly how I picture their sophomore album sounding. Great fucking job, Issues!
Can't stop hitting the replay button...
im lovin the dynamics in tylers voice.
So excited for this album. Can't wait to see them at warped!
thank god i preordered this without previewing the album. i took a blind shot, and it looks like it's going to pay off.
Same here.
with issues it's always gonna pay off cause tyler's voice is just gold!
Same!
I'm detecting elements of just about every genre of music I can think of, and it all works perfectly. Mind blown.
Love that part when Tyler sings at the end 😍 I get chills
This song grew on me. When I first heard it I'm like.. what? But now I gotta hear it every now and then.
Holy shit this is damn good. ISSUES never disappoints me with their music.
Tyler's different style in this song is AMAZING!!!!!!
When you have issues who else is there to go to. I love these guys.
as they release more and more songs everyday the album just gets more and more AMAZING!!!!! love these guys!
Tyler scream! I love that.
this is what i have been waiting for in new album!! we need more stuff like this from issues!
ISSUES is coming back with more vengeance. So stoked for this album.
I can honestly say issues is the best band out right now.Unless MMF spits hot fire on every track....The champ is here
dear god have mercy on us all 1:51-2:00
i'm so stoked i want to hear the rest of the album!!!!! It's been so good i cant even
They just keep surprising me in the best possible ways

Have you ever listen to a song and wished that it would never end or be a lot longer?, Yeah this would be one of those songs.
only watched this for the lyrics! the album is great boys! too proud!
I always have heard of issues it wasn't till last week that I actually took the time to listen to them and I must say they aren't what I expected ( in a good way.) I expected them to be like OM&M , WCAR ect . but they are much better and I'm loving the genre mash up or whatever ever lol . Bella Marie The next album will be more cooler cause Michael (the one who screams) will sing.
Favorite song off the album so far.
Definitely my favorite off the new album cannot get enough of this.
as usual Issues brings something new to the table, great job! definitely a fan!
Definitely fovorite song of the album so far
WHEN TYLER SCREAMS
My favorite song off the album! :3
I fangirled so hard when they played it at Warped XP
I'm so glad this album comes out on my birthday! Best present I could ask for literally!
Michael fist bumped me to the beat of this song at the concert i was SO HAPPY
"I guess if you're in love with the streets
Then you'll die in the sheets
With the coke on your chest and his lips on your cheek" to this part!!!
that part at 1:56 when he says you'll never CHANGE is just awesome
I personally find their sound incredible and unique, the mixing, the turntables, the screaming, the singing, it's all amazing. And if you're telling me you don't like Tyler rapping, then damn I wish you could.
They should probably put this on their setlist....
Omfg this is amazing. Song by song this album is soaring to be one of my all time favorites. Reminds me why Issues is my favorite band!
thank god they still have hard songs on this album, dont get me wrong i love there music and all but i enjoy them for the heavy stuff over the angelic thing they have going on in alot of there new songs.
issues got me hooked
I'm in love with this album.. its perfect. Tyler scream>>> Oh gosh.;*
Best song on this album. For sure.
Top 3 of this album for sure.
Tylers vocal game is stepped up forsure. Screams are comin in nice
i absolutely died in pure happiness when i heard tyler scream
I think the only reason Rise has put out a single for 3 days in a row now is to distract people that the full album leaked earlier this week.
Music in general is groundbreaking.. So them putting out different material is what? Average?
I agree with your opinion, but you sound too much of a power elite.
blunder buss Far from what I meant to come across as, I assure you.
Wait what other bands combine metalcore with rap/r&b? I'm genuinely curious, I haven't heard any
Jeremy Brown emarosa, slaves they both have r and b influences
tylers scream just gave me chills in a good way ;)
Tyler. Screamed. GOOD GOD THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL.
definitely the best song i've heard off their new album so far
You've outdone yourself guys! Love the lyrics! Love the song!
Ray Ligaya, THANK YOOOOUUU....
IKR
+CheeseMan Hall IKRRRRRRR??
Hehe
Oh Tyler, you never cease to amaze us.
This is the best one so far.
The best song off their self titled so far IMO
Best song so far, hands down.
I love Issues!
