Ok i took my time and followed all the directions exactly. It stopped the leak on the driver side(so far) but the passenger side is still full of water. I thought it was working great but now after 3 months its back to leaking.

Installed this kit and followed the instructions. Absolutley perfect 😀. No more leaks! Take your time, make sure everything is nice and clean for good adhesion. Guys were super helpful when I contacted for a wee bit of advice, on the tailgate. Just as there has been a couple of questions on which way the flap goes on the tailgate, I followed the video and it works perfectly. Just to note the flap on the tailgate can point either way but it works better as per the video instruction. Could not reccomend more. If you have leaks this is the answer. Many thanks for the kit and the advice.

This kit WORKS!!! I used this on my JK 2 door when I had the hardtop on and it was DRY. My surprise was, when I removed the hardtop and switched to my soft top and half doors, it STILL DIDN"T LEAK!!!! When you can seal up halfdoor uppers, the kit works. What about the black seals at the top corners? Mine is leaking at the front door top corner of the second pillar between the front and back door. Some piece of foam sucks water in and drips down the pillar and drips on the seat during turns.

hi there. just about it. i'm a bit confused about the freedom panel passenger-side: on 46:15 there is still some sealing rubber from the original sealing on the left edge. on the next scene 46:25 this part is suddenly gone. do we really need to cut off parts from the original sealing rubber???

Folks, today a huge rain storm came through. I just checked 5 minutes ago, and there was not a drop of water on either side of my wife’s Jeep. I have confirmed that the correct way to apply this product is to apply it the way the first portion of this video shows. Then, when you get below the black door strap, follow the inner edge down, and as you make that curve down to the horizontal foot path, stick it on the top, maybe leaving 8th. of an inch exposed on the inner part of the bottom panel. Do not, I repeat, do not route it low at that part, like the video shows. The water travels down and gets in by the bottom of the door, about 8 to 10 inches from where the curve straightens out below the door strap. I wish I could upload a couple of pictures here to show, but just follow what the video shows down to the middle of the curve and do what I said from the mid-curve forward above the foot board part. I think the first guy does it the correct way, then he says to move it down because the feet would hit it. I glued a little bit, about 6 inches, right after the curve of the door panel. I hope I didn’t confuse anyone.

I have posted couple of comments to the effect, this didn’t work for me. Since there are a lots of gasket, I tried different application options. I believe I may have solved the problem I was having. I took off the gasket I first applied following the instructions from the edited version of this video. Then I reapplied like this guy is showing. When you get to the bottom foot pillar, don’t divert down, stay on top straight back. One problem with that is, when you close the door, the gasket gets bent up and water leaks in at that spot. So, I just glued it down so the whole rubber gasket hugs the bottom part. I just had a big rain fall this morning and I found zero water inside. Hope it will last.

I’ll admit when i first heard him say “proprietary secret reflexive gasket system”,my mind began racing.I encountered my passenger side leak over the winter however didn’t realize just how bad it was since the rubber Jeep mat was disguising the water buildup.So I’m gonna do the initial inspection to determine if i need to go further.Thanks.. My first impressions from watching though are positive since it’s thoroughly being explained which many others don’t.

Yup I’m definitely going to have to get this. One question would it be better to go under the mucket seal I think is what they are called (the black rubber pieces in the corners and bend of the door) in case they get messed up down the road and you need to replace them? I have a 2016 jku in mint condition only 47k miles just got last year and noticed last week rear floor soaked. Haven’t figured out where it came in yet but still keep should have done this years ago. I think mine could be the seal on the corner of the door where they joined the molded piece to the straight door seal to make the corner the joint is starting to separate.

You should update the video to show these products instead of the other . Also if your buying in bulk the price should come down from $200
