Always love that kind of drill, everyone is involved and it's great for practicing clearances for scrappy chances/deflections in front of goal. One critique of the goalie in this video is that his push off whilst covering the direction of the ball isn't strong enough and the clearances aren't being forced downward. He is also making up for the lack of push-off by predominately using his stick and glove to waft away the shot, and also leaning back on a stretched leg save which either results in a short corner from a dangerous ball or if the attacker brings down the ball, the keeper is on his backside and will be hard pressed to get up in order to cover the shot. He looks a decent keeper though. Keep up with the fun vids!

Love your vids! I'm a keeper coming back into the game after a 12yr absence. Tips/tricks/drills on your channel is helping getting me back up to scratch. Easy to watch too!

Hi Dennis, do you have a hint for me how to jump in the right direction? I can not guess in which direction the opposing player is going to play the ball and so I try to drop and lock up as much space as possible with my body. But often a ball goes in anyway, because the opponent has played in the other direction. The ball is so fast in the game that although I always have my eyes on the ball, I can not track it. And that sucks.

Check out our patience and rebound drill video. Dennis explains that you have to react on where the ball is going and not that you have guess where it goes.
