Explains why ads are better muted, and makes my hate their product some what less. Remembering how the fake smugness of the Coca Cola ad made my avoid their product for years.
Sometimes the song overtakes the ad & you forget the product & laser-focus on the song. You need the full song, & god help you if it's an exclucive remix with no full release, like the "Work My Body" song used in the Vouge x Coach ad.
Jingles are still effective with me. Mentos, Folgers, Big Red, & Doublemint Gum all live in my head rent-free. I actively avoid products advertised with horrible covers of classic songs, generic trash ukulele whistling music, & nonstop talking out of spite.
