Jakub is the man when it comes down to detailing. There's literally nobody better than him. Jakub removed all of the undercoating with a dry ice blasting on my black '93 Cobra which is on his youtube page. The car turned out amazing and worth a watch on his channel. Hopefully this red Cobra will have the undercarriage cleaned. The Cobra's are bringing in stupid money nowadays.

One of my favorite cars! The 1993 Mustang Cobra. Great detailing job. This man does it right, such dedication to cleaning the little cracks and crevaces! Listen closely, CMS knows his paint. Cheers from Motown and thanks for sharing.

By what I am seeing, this was a race car at some point. The front bumper was cut for most likely an intercooler and the rear brakes were probably changed to accommodate smaller drag wheels. It happens quite a bit on these cars. I love these cars, wish I still had my old one and would have purchased another before the boom a few years ago. Looking forward to these videos coming soon.

I don't know all the history on the vehicle in regard to it being raced, but I think you might be correct. Stay Tuned. Thank you!

My old red 93 cobra was 2 stage paint with single stage bumper, ground effects, and wing.

@@cmsmotorsports7616 I had actually looking into buying the car you all are restoring. I’m friends with the previous owner Johnny. Good guy. You all picked up a solid car for the $$. Cool to see it getting brought back to life !

IT'S AMAZING IF YOU HAVE A GOOD DETAILER AND HOW THEY CAN BRING BACK OLD PAINT LOL MY 93 COBRA HAS 20THOUSAND ORIGINAL MILES AND THE PAINT IS ALMOST PERFECT BUT MY 87 MUSTANG GT NEEDS TO BE DETAILED.

I'd really like to see all three chassis VIN tags on this car. I'm still not convinced it is an actual Cobra.
But it is cleaning up very nicely!

Why you putting on the cobra badge fender emblems on backwards??

    • @joelbreuker981

Drivers side faces backwards. Passenger side faces forward. Only on the 93's. Ask Ford why?

I Understand stand you were going for budget but should have removed all the trim, bumpers and ground effects and even the quarter glass when painting. Otherwise nice results

So pay to have it detailed for hours then just repaint it? Why not just wash it, see what you have, then repaint it?? Seems a lot cheaper.

    • @89notch

I agree. Maybe hoping a detail would do the trick? I see some obvious rust issues along with the bumper cracks he talked about so that would discount that idea.

Sad to hear that the original owner took mad care of the thing then the second owner basically drove it doing pizza delivery it looks like.....fuck. Glad to see its in good hands now. Kinda wondering the same on why go thru such an intensive detail, paint correction and so forth just to strip and paint? My guess was to see if it was salvagable as a survivor paint job first maybe, and since it had too many issues to the roof and another area he talked about they decided to paint. Either way it'll come out bitchin. I love that shade of red. Vibrant red clear I think.

Maybe but I would assume he checked the VIN. He’s actually very knowledgeable about this car.

In his first video, he shows the SVT certificate indicating it's production #449 Granted, it needs a lot of work, but I'm happy he's restoring it. He seems to know a lot about them.

All that work why not cut down the paint more than just scuff and shoot. Makes no sense. Primer over paint is not restoration. It’s a respray
