Hey guys, today's video is the final video taken from our Outer Banks vacation. It's a special video for 2 reasons, first, my son Matthew caught his first fish of the summer and on camera. Most of you know that Matthew edits all of our videos. And second, it was our last full day of vacation in the Outer Banks. Kool last vacationing day with some fish!!!.. Yea the river was all muddy and seaweed/ logs floating around when i took the boat out Saturday night... Musta been that same storm you were talking about

That's the banks for ya. You get two great days a week, then it gets up on ya! That was a costly crab, I know those bloodworms are expensive! Ever tried night crawlers in the surf?
No on the night crawlers, they sold them and i almost bought them just try but just went with Bloodworms.
@@MKOutdoors I never did either, but I think it should be given a try. I've though that before too, and never gotten round to it.

Love seeing the surf fishing. We try to go to gulf shores every year and I am out surf fishing every morning. This year we did not get to go, it is nice to at least get to watch some of it.

With the way things have been going this year, I’m sure it felt even better to get away. What restaurant were you referring to when you mentioned going out to dinner that night?

That’s the place right next to the marina in Hatteras, right? It looked awesome and we almost ate there after our charter on Miss Hatteras (one of the mates recommended it), but we were there before it opened for the day and didn’t hang around. Next time!

Hey Paul, im definitely gonna try night crawlers and sandworms next year. Blood worms are way too expensive. And i never did get out shark fishing

I was with my family last week of august and found that digging for sand fleas with kids and using for bait was best way to catch fish without breaking the wallet for bait. Plentiful and just a little elbow grease to get them but great family activity. Enjoy your videos and keep up the good work keeping kids enjoyed and respecting the outdoors. God Bless.
