Gen 3 has a different frame, different motor, fairings, headlights, subframe, I mean literally nothing is interchangeable but the front fender. The only thing similar between both are the tech (both have a QS, heated grips, riding modes, lean angles, etc). I’ve had both and when you ride them back to back, they ride different. I personally think the 3rd gen is more comfortable and the 4th gen is smoother / linear.
Thank you for the context 👌🏼
keep up the videos man, made my day!
❤️
I’m here to listen to whatever you want to talk about, non rider but soaking up all info 😂 it’s a nice surprise when you talk 🖤
The sound alone makes me want one ❤
I find the talking segments in your videos more engaging, and your genuine passion for motorbikes shines through your commentary. Incorporating biking tips is a great idea, given your personal connection to spreading a positive message. I'd suggest integrating these tips into your current content gradually to gauge how your audience responds.
:)
Will do, I’m glad you’re enjoying the content. Definitely going to work on the commentary to keep it more engaging/informative for you guys
yessss new vid😁
🖤
I'm not an s1k guy but they are growing on me. I really love how this older gen looks. Def in the running for one of my next liter bikes, but I've heard stories of people having issues with used ones they've bought. Also, whats up with the shift light coming on so early? lol
They are a great all around bike, only downside is that they’re not Japanese IMO. And bro I have no idea lol, it’s set at 13,5 but for some reason it turns on at 7k.
I've had mine for 35,000km - most reliable bike i've ever owned. Not a single issue, touch wood.
13:08 Awe fak 😂😂
Great comparison vid 🤙🏽🔥
Almost caught me slipping lol, glad you enjoyed the video 😂💪
When the weather warms up we have to get a ride in for sure!
@@carterleewalker Hahahaha. Most definitely 👍🏽
Bro whaaaat?! I didn’t know you were local!!!
23 s1000rr bought new 6k miles now zero problems with stage 2 Brentune. Go ride one if you get a chance, going to be hard hopping back on your r1.
My next bike is for sure going to be a 2015 s100rr. I have my eye on a sick one near me for 13k. I started on a gixxer250😂 and got real comfortable on it and over it quick. I just don’t shit about 1000s let alone bmw. If anyone can shoot any advice it’ll be greatly appreciated. Also mileage on bikes I do not understand at all. What’s high? And what to stay away from? Also how long can they go to with proper servicing and maintenance?? Thanks guys
I found a first Gen 13’ for my friend last summer, bought it after owning a Ducati 848 for 2 years which was a nightmare!
Bmw made the s1000rr based off the 2005/2006 Suzuki GSXR 1000, very reliable and service intervals are a little longer vs a Japanese bike and maintenance costs similar to Japanese, so if you want it GET IT! they are very reliable and you could definitely get 50k+ miles out of one of you really wanted to with basic maintenance.
My friend sends me gopro clips all the time because he is truly in love with that bike and it was that or a Gsxr 1000 lmao
Is there a chance you can get 60 fps for future videos?
May I ask why?
@@carterleewalker I think it would look a lot better for video quality since you’re moving really fast :)
What do you mean can’t do that on a zx10 my gen six pop up in third not sure if weight got to go with that but my zx10 easily willies
It can, it’s just not as smooth as the s1k. The gen 5 10r just fish tails and yanks up like a power wheelie. Not a huge fan of it
Newer bikes look nice but I still think most of 3rd gen bikes look better whether it’s the Yamaha r6 or this bmw s1000rr
I have 50 k on mine... these are better for the streets.. the new ones are too light in the ass. swingarm is cheese. I just had the fuel pump go but that was the first problem in all these years...I would never sell.
Old one much better 🥷
Me being the 10 like :)

R1 feel like 600???😮 thats a lie
