Fred Armisen completely nailed that impersonation of George Lopez. He ALWAYS does those super open eyes and raspy voice.

Pat Tanackered better but way more subtle. You can't do an impression without some exaggeration... especially in a TV show

it's more of a brent impression than ricky himself
Ricky's not from London, he's from Berkshire (south east to London) so the accent's wrong for a start.

I still don't understand why Taran and Jay were let go, both do some of the best characters. Kutcher and Denzel were on fucking point.
Right, both were amazing but not utilized. Taran always played “the straight man” ( comedy phrase/not sexuality) and Jay never really got the screen time. I always felt like Pharoah should have just blown up, even after leaving SNL. So talented.
Taran was great. Jay was boring with his one dimensional impressions. He was like Melissa Vilasenor is today. Also the Abbie something girl. Just obnoxious.

@@Bonbonbon739 I thought it was less that Taran was funny and more that he was a good actor. He showed he could do a variety or characters and impressions, but didn't get as many opportunities and jokes.

That was the best Ashton Kutcher impression I've ever seen... Of course, it was probably the *only* one I've ever seen, but still, it was good.

Aditya shrivastava that got loudest applause. Jay was on SNL too short of a time I feel ...but i dunno maybe his talents weren't utilized properly there either. Haven't seen him in anything since the show however.

This video demonstrates why SNL has been on the air for over 40 years, even though the writing can get stale, the amount of talent they have is consistently over the top.

Kristin Wiig always gets to deliver the punchline in any skit, even if she's partially in it. Just goes to show how epic she is.

This was SNL's best lineup, excepting the originals of course...and #3 was the Sandler-Farley crew, IMO.
