Old fart here. I envy you younger players so much. I could have only dreamed of this kind of instruction when I first picked up a guitar over 30 years ago. Pre-internet, pre-smart phone, pre-youtube. All we had were limited Mel Bay books and anyone who knew a little more than you was willing to teach you. I can't wait to see what the newer generation of players brings us.

AMAZING VIDEO! The short artist segments alone are worth the price of admission (and a Thumbs Up!). A lot of us know who those guitarists are and may even have a healthy respect for and appreciation of them, but not as many have taken the time to view them ALSO as artists and humans expressing their own unique thing. Watching SRV literally brought tears to my eyes--especially know the demons he battled. Anyways, another awesome video. Thanks!

This one here is a gemstone. I've seen so many youtubers just use chords seemingly out of nowhere and layer stuff in daws same with melodies they tell to keep in mind a tempo and get it from nowhere. But the stuff that John says makes sense from the get go. Singing progression then notes makes all the theory come together.
Thank you for your work. This thing right here makes creating music so much fun and interesting.
