I hope you enjoy this lesson as much as I enjoyed making it. Typo Corrections: the Bb7 is a sub for E7, not a sub for Eb7 - it's mislabeled on the intro chords but explained correctly during the lesson at 4:23 . Second Typo: the very first B major chord, the note labeled b7 is just the root (1) 🤪. Also, Jimi was tuned down a whole step here which means his fingers were two frets higher than as shown, but I kept it like this so people can stay in standard tuning. His strings must have been super slinky like that - usually he tuned down just a half step!!!

Amazing job both on the guitar and the video. Thank you! very helpful.
absolutely awesome!... liked, subscribed and all notifications!. Well done, brilliant format, and degree harmony on screen is exactly what's missing in most of the content that's online. +1 new fan!.
@@djmccloskey1755 ditto , gonna say the same thing 👍
Bro. You are the only legend the internet needed . Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Unbelievable. Simply unbelievable.
Please continue with Hendrix tutorials because no one I mean NO ONE nails it down like you!!! Thank you!!
I just want to say that this channel's videos have everything that I ever wanted when watching guitar lesson videos. This fretLive thing is INSANE! The most visually kind lesson I would say. This channel deserves more than 100,000 subscribers. Thank you for these cool videos! I can't imagine how much effort that it took to make this single video. 👏👏👏
You said it for me 🙏🙏👌👌👌
ditto!
🙏
thank you so much!
i agree, and its one my favorite versions of this song too absolutely amazing, god bless
Jimi was the true definition of a prodigy. His entire body of work was all created before his 28th birthday and people can study it their whole lives and never master it. We’re lucky so much of it got recorded.
He played guitar day in day out, not too impressive if you have 25 years I of playing
In order to get as good as he was he would've had to play day in and out. All the greats did.... And THAT'S what makes it impressive. It's the DISCIPLINE. You're welcome.
😂 then you find out ALL musicians are CHOSEN for you! 😂 there are plenty of great musicians around, but none of them have the bloodlines or will do the worst kind of thing to another human being for the game and glory. This is why so many have drug addiction because they were born into the family, and thus heavily abused or they done that to others, nearly always children. Musical Truth vol 1-3. Read this. Weird Scenes Inside Laurel Canyon. Read this. Nothing is by chance. No more heroes. Pretty good way to start living your life and not idolising others.
@@jkws3724 hater🤣
@@jkws3724he picked up his first guitar with about 15/16 if i recall correctly
Never in the field of human guitar tuition has so many lightbulbs been lit in so few tutorials in such a short space of time……my guitar ability has gone into orbit since watching these Pow music tutorials
so far this format of visualization on fingerings is the most helpful among entire youtube guitar music education videos
I'm a visual learner and this is by far the best guitar instructional channel. Another plus is you get right into the meat of the lessons. Love your format and look forward to more. Much appreciated!
Where have you been all my life?!?!?!?! Love this!!!!! Thanks!!!!!!
Whomever breaks these licks down, doesn’t realize how important they are. I mean to planet earth. Truly that important. This is groundbreaking in my opinion.
@Jacque it’s pretty common dude
I used to watch him play this rendition of Red House everyday multiple times when I was first learning. Cant get enough
More Hendrix? Yes, please! I absolutely relish Hendrix breakdowns. So great... thank you!

Yes your fret live animations are the absolute best in the whole guitar teaching space. Nothing comes close! I hope you have a good patent on that technology!
Thank you! It is trademarked :)
@@PowMusic Awesome! Thanks again for you wonderful lessons. I have been playing for 30 years and these lessons connect with my brain better than any other visual aid. Onwards and upwards ❤️🙏🚀

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH thank you at last after 20 years or more someone shows me exactly how to play the lick at 20:50 that used to make my head spin when I watched it on a BBC south bank show documentary in the early 1990s. THANK YOU SO VERY KINDLY
To beginner guitarist, these kind of videos that overlay scales/patterns over the entire shape like this really, really helps solidify things...
