@@samwilson4597 It is next season. The only arc in-between is the Harisha training arc, but it's like 4 episodes short so It won't be its own season. Infinity castle also way too long to be a movie lol. It's gonna take 26+ episodes at least.

Genya is not half demon. He just eats demons to temporarily gain demon strength/attributes. He explained that last episode.

Tanjiro was going crazy!
Reason why Nezuko can walk in the sunlight.
From season 1, Nezuko forced broke Muzan curse by just sleeping for 2 years. She doesn't need blood, she gets stronger by sleeping. The Ball demon blast Nezuko leg off.. after reattach, Nezuko overpowered the demon. She gets blood demon art of fire that hurts demons only and cleanse demon aura.
Season 2... Nezuko developed the strength of an upper rank demon against Daki. She gets a full demon mode form when she first lose control.
Season 3... she has full control over her demon mode. She has fully developed full immunity to the sun. Tamayo states that Nezuko blood keeps changing.
Seems like nobody actually paid attention to Nezuko's power growth throughout the series for reactors to be confused on why Nezuko can walk in the sun.... she literally a mutant demon who went on a different path than all other demons.

Tanjiro has low-key been on demon time this whole season. Training days without food or sleep, stepping to the upper 4, running with a broken leg and ruptured eardrums that should make it impossible to balance enough to run at all, and then scaring the shit out of upper 4 out of sheer determination. And not a hint of his usual sympathy for this one, he's on something this arc.

I wouldn’t say they “choose” not to pay attention. It’s cause it’s a reaction video, so they’re obviously they’re gonna be talking and voicing their thoughts. Which means they’re gonna miss a detail here and there. That’s what rewatches are for

Season was good. Im a manga reader and it still evoked my emotions. This arc was truly about nezako. Muzan wants some of that.

so in short moral conflicts are different from physical conflicts
Demon Slayer is great because its simple, the main characters are Always the good guys and the enemies are Always the bad guys and the audience can sit back and watch the fireworks without worry
but i really do love it when characters have to struggle against their morals, their principles, etc. Tanjiro is the Good Guy (TM), has always been the Good Guy. But now, he's faced between choosing to do the Good and Noble thing where he saves innocent lives OR he chooses to save his sister and leave people behind to die
And he cant choose! How fascinating! A Good Guy (TM), selfless and noble would always choose to save people even at a personal cost to themselves, and Tanjiro so far has been doing that. Until now.
What if he did choose? What if he stayed with his sister? What if he protected her and turned his back on those blacksmiths? What happens then? This excites the imagination, and it asks questions about the kind of choices Tanjiro will make in the future
Which is a different sort of excitement to how this boy gets to cut a demon's neck this week
Of course, if that sort of internal conflict goes over your head, then well, thats understandable. It can be quite complex and there's beauty a plenty in simply watching the fireworks

Muzan sees Hantengu as normal, but he is sometimes so annoying as to be intolerable.
Hantengu has lied so much about his name, age and background that he has forgotten what his real name, age or background really is
Hantengu married and had children several times. This did not last as whenever he was accused of dishonesty he would feel mistreated and would angrily kill his wives and children in retaliation.
he managed to get married several times because through his robberies he always had a lot of money and he was very attractive managing to easily attract women during his youth
This cycle of marrying, having children and killing seems to have continued until he met Muzan.
Even as a child, Hantengu was a frequent liar that deflected blame from him onto anyone else. Whenever something happened, he would play the victim and do whatever he could to make others around him look bad as a way to gain sympathy.

Nezuko was a demon for around 4 years. The first 2 she was sleeping and the rest she was kept with a muzzle in her mouth where she was unable to speak. She only made noises even without the muzzle. She cant talk right because she hadnt spoke for like 4 years and she basically forgot how.
basically a coma, you need to learn how to walk again after a long period of time just laying in bed

Think about it, Tanjiro inherited the Hinokami Kagura from his father. Meanwhile Nezuko has a fire-like Demon blood art that only affects demons. I think it’s safe to say that they both inherited certain attributes of “sun breathing” from their father in a sense, Tanjiro as a demon slayer and Nezuko as a demon who wields a sun-like power and hence is also immune to the sun. Not to mention she has been resisting Muzan’s demon blood since ep 1 and slowly evolving and gaining more control over her mind and body, as Tamayo mentioned that her blood is constantly changing.

Demon Slayer is literally the definition of "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work". Them kids were STRUGGLING with Zohakuten & wouldn't have gotten to the main body if Mitsuri didn't pull through. At the same time Misturi would have died if they didn't save her & put the work to kill Hatengu. Tanjiro wouldn't have been able to kill anyone if Muichiro didn't pull through to throw the sword that Kotestu gave to Tanjiro that Hotaru fixed. Every victory is attributed to teamwork. Remove even ONE person from the equation & the results wouldn't have been the same.
This was a good episode and all emotional. Remember, the reason that nezuko threw him off was that she was hypnotized in the first season to prioritize saving humans instead of her, that is why she made the decision for tanjiro or it could have been also what helped her push him to saving the swordmakers, could be . It was a very good season ❤❤❤

@@heroricspiritfreinen38 did you watch the episode? The demon that was burning wasn’t even the main body. The main body was safe inside AWAY from the sun. If resentment had gotten to those villagers he would have been able to recover enough to keep his body from disintegrating to have enough time to get out of the sun and keep fear Hantengu from burning. That was very clearly shown.
If you watched the episode properly you would have saw that when Tanjiro cut open Resentment that Hantengu wasn’t burnt at all. He was completely safe
I think its basically hinted that upper moon 4 may have had multiple personality disorder which is why he never remembers doing the things he does plus it plays into his demon powers aswell since he can literally split all of his emotions into different demons.

I'm surprised people really thought Nezuko would die. Ain't no way as Tanjiro's main motivation to fight. The anime made it more dramatic than the manga with the flashback compilation.

Thunder nor Water Breathing was used here. He applied the principles of those breathing techniques to Sun Breathing, which can be done because all breathing techniques originated from Sun Breathing.
Still, being able to do that with all those injuries is no easy feat.

I mean yeah if it wasn't for tanjiro the love hashira would have died but that goes both ways the only reason tanjiro was able to kill that wimp demon is because hashira is holding of the strongest version of him. SO yeah it goes both ways jerry it was a team effort. In fact mitsuri already saved tanjiro from dying like 2 episodes ago, so that same logic can be applied vice versa.
@Lee Brown I mean the only reason tanjiro got to grab mitsuri with genya and nezuko is because mitsuri saved tanjiro first when he was getting crushed in the wood dragon.
They both saved each other twice. Because when the wood dragon was about to attack them for going after the real body of the demon mitsuri stopped it and in return for letting tanjiro and the rest get away. Tanjiro slays the real demon which is her getting saved for the second time.
Oh yeah she also protected them from the lightning after she got grabbed and regained consciousness. So she technically saved all three of them right away after being saved.
@Lee Brown tanjiro was able to direct genya to the main body if he did that for mitsuri she could do what tanjiro did probably faster.
The only issue is that the strongest demon would kill tanjiro genya and nezuko. But mitsuri would succeed where genya failed.
Thats why mitsuri is important mitsuri could find it with tanjiro help like genya but that wouldn't keep tanjiro and the rest alive.
So the roles can't be reversed because mitsuri can slice the neck but the rest can't hold of the demon.
@Lee Brown if tanjiro gave mitsuri directions she could slay the main body without anyones help unlike tanjiro who needs nezuko and genya.
The only issue is tanjiro himself can not delay the fusion clone that is the only reason mitsuri has to stall
Its again a team effort and tanjiro doesn't make it without mitsuri so how pivotal tanjiro is does not matter if he can't get past the strongest clone.
@@leebrown1213 Fact: Zouhakuten had to put most of Hantengu's energy into fighting Mitsuri, that's why Urami (the Hantengu-carrying self) was weakened and slowed down a lot, and Urami herself admitted it was because of Mitsuri that he couldn't regenerate his body immediately. Furthermore, Mitsuri just doesn't have the feat to prove that she has enough senses to find Hantengu, there's no confirmation that Mitsuri doesn't have enough senses like Tanjirou at all. And if Mitsuri can't find Hantengu then all the other hashira (except perhaps Gyomei or Uzui) can't find Hantengu either, as there is no feat that proves they can do it.
And you guys can stop arguing about who matters most in this fight. There's no need to retort about their achievements because it really makes the atmosphere unnecessarily tense. Everyone plays an important role. If necessary, let me summarize Tanjirou and Mitsuri's achievements:
Tanjirou: buys time with Nezuko and Genya long enough until Mitsuri comes to the rescue, together with Genya and Nezuko in time to save Mitsuri, using his special senses with the help of both Nezuko and Genya to find Hantengu and kill him with the sword was forged by Haganezuka and was thrown by Muichirou and Kotetsu (who were also prevented by Haganezuka), in time to save Mitsuri from death (remember that there are feats of Genya, Nezuko and a little help from Muichirou, Kotetsu and Haganezuka, not just Tanjirou)
Mitsuri : arrive in time to save the village blacksmith from the fish demons, save the village chief from the boss fish demon, arrive in time to save Tanjirou from being crushed by the wood dragon, fight while Tanjirou recovers, protect Tanjirou, Nezuko and Genya from the lightning strike from Zouhakuten, cut off the wood dragon that was targeting Tanjirou's group, fighting almost on par with Zouhakuten for a period of time to prevent him from reaching Tanjirou's group, and at the same time making Zouha have to Using up Hantengu's mana slows and weakens Urami gradually, making it easier for Tan and the others to manage.
You said without the original Tanjirou beheading, Mitsuri died, right? Then if Mitsuri didn't fight Zouhakuten, Tan and the others would also die because they were defeated by Zouhakuten and have a harder time keeping up with Urami. Tanjirou saved Mitsuri from Zouha's fist, Mitsuri saved Tanjirou's group from Zouhakuten's thunderbolt. You confidently say that Tanjirou played the most important role in taking down Hantengu. Then try switching the roles of Mitsuri and Tanjirou. Surely Tanjirou will die brutally by Zouhakuten, Mitsuri will be pursued by Zouhakuten after he kills Tanjirou and also have to search for Hantengu. So each person has their own role and is extremely important in the war.
In the end, it's stupid to waste your time comparing who contributed more than who, because it just proves that you like to downplay female characters with less screen time like Mitsuri.
there is a more intricate and specific reason for nezuko conquering the sun, I don’t remember if they reveal it near the end of the manga or not however. (After reading on it, it’s mentioned in a databook I’m pretty sure)
she's able to walk in the sun because she ate the blue spider lily as a human her mom had found it and put it into a soup (it was told in the manga)

Nezuko hasn’t spoken in a very very long time I believe she forgot how to, and my theory on her surviving the sun is that her family consists of sun breathers, so I believe her existing in the sun as a demon is very sensible.

I was spoiled for what would happen and still cried, the execution was just that beautiful. Btw, don’t know if you got this: Nezuko’s original transformation set her back to a child-like mindset. Add that with the fact she hasn’t spoken in about three years, or kind of is like she’s been reborn.
Tanjiro knows sun breathing, thats why he can understand all other breathing techniques, remember all other are derived from sun breathing, because other swordsmen cannot acquire sun breathing.
My theory is that any swordsmith who gets a black sword is a Sun Breather. But because of there being little to no information on it, the chosen try to learn other techniques that their bodies aren't suited for, which is also why they die earlier than most other slayers.
Like bro tanjiro can use 3 breathing styles, like dawg just used thunder breathing😂

So are people just suppose to unanimously call everything good, great or even perfect every time? I’ve enjoyed Demon Slayer’s anime in its entirety so far. I also read the whole series. This season was in my opinion, the worst. It wasn’t all bad. That said, I’m not going to just praise it either.

I want to know if people still shame Rengoku dying after fighting with zero help and no mark against UM3. Yet in this season we saw UM5 essentially hand “the prodigy child” Muichiro an L with that water prison which would have killed him; all for someone to save him, get a mark and then win his fight. As for Mitsuri… She got the freest W ever. All that help and a mark of her own just to almost take an L to UM4. What a miraculous save… 😂

I have DiD, so this is still a fantasy version of it, but I will point out one of the personalities having a hero/god complex is my issue and when I was young I never saw that complex as an issue and never understood why it was to others, and when pushed or questioned too much I would resort to an anger that took over like a storm, and I would get out of body experiences when I was angry so I really couldn't control myself regardless of knowing that I was getting out of line. Much different today, I don't have out of body experiences much/not that intensely, mostly when I have to talk to people who are high energy smooth talkers and the only way to match that is with some other complex.

Someone on Twitter explained what happened to Nezuko....the reason she was always sleeping and unable to get her consciousness back was because this whole time she was working inwardly on how to keep the human aspect of herself. The final steps simply put were to break her connection with Muzan, and the burning while always working on the while resting in her box.

I'm a manga reader but the music at the nezuko moment really got me almost crying. Tanjiro's voice when he's angry is so satisfying to me, when he said the " I'll chase you even from the depths of hell" that's so cold. I can't wait for his "You're not allowed to live Muzan"💀

Given he was disoriented from the attacks but the words he chose to speak when she rescued him was her name repeatedly instead of giving crucial info .
And even after he got to tell her that it was an upper 4, he CHOSE to say it and then gets distracted from admiring her abilities rather than taking That time to tell her about HANTENGU. He had every opportunity to tell her and flopped . Then gave a speech after saving her just so the audience can forget his mistake earlier. Stop tripping, every thing Tanjiro accomplished here in this app is possible because Mitsuri gave them an alternative. HANTENGU'S specialty is to play the long game that's why he's upper 4, he's killed many Hashira and demon slayer by tiring them out because that can't fight 4 clones while searching for the main body or fight Hatred clone. @@leebrown1213 She heard Tanjiro when she reached Zohakouten so that means she definitely heard him when she set off to fight. It really is on him. Tanjiro also used his nose when Genya mentioned finding Hantengu. No ones changing the narrative, you just gotta see what's beyond the subtitles only, you can also think for yourself and have an opinion, yes Jerry said she may die which is true but don't forget she knew what she was up against and still fought regardless. She didn't expect any saving once she appeared besides its better for her to take the fight to zohakouten instead of him coming to attack them which would make misturi have to guard tanjiro and fight at the same time while trying to rescue the other two. Think like a Hashira and not like a liability.
Even Nezuko knew that when she kicked his ass to save the villagers instead by sacrificing herself. Think please.

It all comes together. So that's also twice like how you like to use that word to remind me. 🤣. I'd put it bold but I trust you can read facts rather than just grasping up fragments of the truth. They placed their hopes and hopes in each other, every save led them to where they are now so if you can come to terms with that than I think you wouldn't be so one sided.
Yo Jerry, all Tanjiro did was to assist hashiras all this time. If he was the one fighting them 1v1 he won’t last a minute lol
Just want to remind everyone that while Tanjiro was fighting Hantengus real body, Mitsuri was fighting Zohakuten at a much higher level. Remember when he splits his body he also divides his power. The whole reason Tanjiro didn’t die was because Zohakuten was using so much of his power to fight Mitsuri. Is Tanjiro getting stronger every season ? Absolutely! But still he could not fighting Upper 4 at his full strength, not even close. Same thing with Gyutaro last season. This is actually something I like about this series. Tanjiro is obviously the main character is is constantly getting stronger but never to an unrealistic level. It’s not till the final arc where Tanjiro is finally “Hashira level” and even then he is still not overly powerful. It’s boring when a series makes a main character way too strong that the fight is legitimately boring (Ichigo vs Aizen and Gon vs Pito)
In my opinion this was the weakest arc so far, however the next arc is one of the best in new gen so I can`t wait to see what they do with that🔥
To become a hashira you have to either beat 50 demons or beat one of the 12 moons by yourself
