I mean they did take out some things and add minor tweaks to characters.
Such as rein now being able to let go of his enemies during charge which wasn’t possible in OW1
I like to hook someone than spin my mouse frantically at 1000 mph
Overwatch in a nutshell. Same for mercy, her movement can be very agile, if you press the right combination of keys at the right time at lightning speed.
OP's comment used to be a legit tactic to stun-lock someone back in, like... mid-2017? Because the hook wouldn't break unless the enemy was directly in front of you, constantly spinning would never break the hook, so they'd never get un-stunned.
One more tip is that using that you can pull someone off the map if they manage to be close enough to the edge with you

another really good hog tip is to go into the spawn room and press h and pick a different character.

I think most people know this trick even new ow2 players because its pretty good for getting environmental kills
Agreed. Most people know about turning with the Hook but we found that newer players don't initially pick up on add a jump to help hook targets over ledges or terrain.

You actually don't have to wait for hook to land, make sure hook is going to wards the target and then immediately after throwing hook is when you start the turn, that's how you're gonna get larger targets to go through walls so you can actually get them behind you and use your body as a makeshift wall.
I just LOVE when a rein or road tries to throw me out of the map when I'm playing Dva because I fly to go behind him and throw him ):D

People always remember this at ledges but 📢 Do it in team fights too separating someone from their team and making it harder to run away is very useful but not enough Hogs do it 📢

they wont get caught on the ledge, or caught on anything if you wait before turning your camera, if you time it right you can have enemies slide against walls and place them almost anywhere you want. Super strong on rialto on defense and echenwalde. truly turns all positioning in to bad positioning. :)

Man i cant believe how hard ow is gonna be for me on console with a controller
No aim assist on some game modes ( im not really bothered by not having it but its just annoying how sometimes it is but isnt like i cant practise real aim with aim assist support as i usually over do the aiming then or below do the aiming with aim assist if i train without it)
And then also this trick where i have to use the right stick to aim and then take my thumb ot to press X
I have right stick set to have the punch
Left one is for crouching i have a normal ps4 controller
I got about 3400hrs on console and 500 of those on roadhog alone, that tech is so niche I don't use it myself, if there's any tech with hog that you should practice just focusing on learning to hook and turn enemies into doorways or around corners to body block.

If I'm not being hooked through my teammates from the backline on the high ground with three walls between the roadhog and I, when he's on Ilios and I'm on Watchpoint Gibraltar, and him spinning around to out me between himself and his team then getting oneshot because of my 'unlucky positioning' then its not the true Classic Hook
