Lovely car but priced way outside of my budget and that was if I was able to get one. I’ll be sticking with the FK8 however I’m interested in the gearbox especially as you mention it may have upgrades that can be retrofitted to the FK8.
@DreamAutomotive you should check the knuckles and steering parts, any rienforced part might be possible to swap to FK8, even though It's possible to make a modified FK8 parts if it meets the demand and price targets
We imagine that a lot of what hasn't been revised would have come from the FK8, or is slightly different to the FK8. However we will still be checking backwards compatibility on a lot of the FL5's parts! Thank you for watching 💪
From what i have seen at the japanese Videos and magazines. They havent rly managed the cooling problem. The bigger water cooler is just delaying the problem on the track. Same story with the FK8 Facelift. I wonder if just a simple hood raiser mod will just solve it. FK8 owners report it does a big difference. But yeah looking forward to refine the FK8 gear shifts. have heard there are various options. But lets be honest . Out of the box its already one of the best. And all the other different mods. I think this model will sell rly bad in the EU. Especially since its limited in numbers. Do you know if UK is part of this EU emissions deal? Or are they out from it as well? Overall for the price its rather a dissapointment. Its basicly a proper Facelift of the FK8. No double clutch, no awd. Still yes its a drivers cars yes i know. But some options would have been a big deal breaker for the lazy ppl 😆 Here you can clearly see the black color oder red looks a lot nicer than the championship white
I'd like to see the Fl5 wheel setup on the Fk8...I think it'll run rings around the younger brother... I think Honda has missed the mark big time, I'd rather go Rs3 or A45s 50k used than fl5, loved the fk8 aswell.
A45 and RS3 are AWD auto box cars. FL5 is a front wheel manual car. Completely different. People interested in a FL5 or FK8 wont necesarily be interested in a A45 or RS3. I know that cause im one of them. A manual gearbox is a must for me. FL5 is out of my price range so hoping to pick up a boost blue FK8 soon.

O have an FK8 and one day I’ll have the FL5 once prices in the stop being ridiculous… also for shifter Acuity is th way to go
