@26:00 Our wood barreled artillery will strike fear into the iron hearts of our enemies! It's always great to see you premier a new game on the channel. It's really clear how excited you are which makes these videos so enjoyable to watch. :D
The diffrence between a General and a Field Marshall isnt a type diffrence, a Field Marshall is just higher in the chain of Command, actualy he is one step ahead of the General and just under the high command / the president / or the minister of defence / the chief of the staff,,, depending on how the military hierarchy is divided in the particular country and how its conected to the political one, in Germany for example the Field marshall was the highest commander of an entire Theatre, he had sevral generals below him who acted like his officers in the particular armies he was commanding in diffrent armygroups... The Field Marshall, like Erich von Mannstein, or Erwin Rommel were only suposed to get orders from the OKW the Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, while those people were only a burau which was getting the orders of Hitler to the field!
The difference in terms of in-game mechanics is exactly what I said. I wasn't discussing what the difference is in real life, I was discussing how the game actually works. You can read more about it at www.hoi4wiki.com/Command_group#Commander
Marbozir Nice i like how you take serious of evry single smallest Game Mechanics... in that part im more the realistic player... More concerned for the Macro in this game not the Micro... In this part i like how its finaly made that you can finaly realy working assign units to a front line and then juts watch how they atack randomly... It was so hard to command all those single atacks earlier in HOI 2 DK or HOI III, they finaly did somethin about that, this spares a lot of time...
one thing that would have been nice in HoI 4 is if we could form army groups of multiple generals ( each with their own army) under a field Marshal to form a war theater.. I think that would have been rather fun
Great Job Marbozir! Very fun to watch and I'm really learning how to play.... Thanks for Let's Play! For some reason this game seems easier to grasp than HOI 3.
+Jeff Plankey It definitely is. One of the problems with HoI3 was the fact it wasn't unusual having to spend an hour to re-organize your army at the start of a new game. That was one of the things that made the learning curve steep and it's gone in HoI4.
correction- sikorski died win a plane while taking off from giblartar, not in the uk. it is said that it was a plane accident, but some people believe that the accident was staged, and he was kille by brits. such suspicions are not backed with facts thought.
Stellaris, Total War-Warhammer, and now HOI4. I am starting to wonder if we will ever get another Civ5 LP any time soon! lol. I must admit that I do like the different games you are playing my friend, but please do not forget Civ 5. Keep up the great LPs, as they are all great in my opinion. :-)
+Shayan Lahijanian That must be one of the most childish comments I have seen, just because the graphics are terrible that doesn't mean the game is shit.
Hi Marbozir! I love your channel! It will be interesting to see how you will handle the germans. Looking forward to this series! Keep up up the good work with your channel! Greetings from Sweden!
yes. didn't they sail on teacup ships with crumpet sails? sorry. (And no I don't actually think it's appropriate, but for the giggles, i would love to mod such things)
I actually also like content where the whole series is not about steamrolling nations (Like much other gameplays out there on many strategy games). Wanna seeee moar!!! :D
I'm a little bit angry on Paradox, becouse Roman Dmowski (advisor here) wasn't a fascist. He didn't even support ONR. He was a national-liberal with neoslavic ideas... But except for that, game looks awesome.
Very exciting, and you're taking on the biggest challenge in the game yet among any other youtuber I've seen! Would it be alright to ask if you would say the names of places and leaders as you go on too? I'd like to know how those names sound :)
I bought it thinking ohh that looks cool then i got scared lol. This is actually pretty helpful. Not saying i disliked the game it's just so so deep in terms of gameplay and strategy games are not my forte!
pitthepig It was more a figure of speech. I've been to Poland and met some Poles but they had less of an accent. So, everyone, don't get me wrong, I think Marbozir's accent is great, but I had no idea where to localize it. Also great video, thanks ^^
Hello Marbozir. Nobody seems to be playing USA or Great Britain on youtube. Would love to see you play either of those as your next campaign :) (I would prefer historical :p)
Dudeeee, You Actually speak very good in terms of grammar and Vocabulary, but this accent makes You sound like some Soviet version of bender from futurama with a mix of steven hawking thrown in...AWESOME
Nice! I think this version of HOI has less screens which is good. I really liked to watch you play Victoria 2 with Prussian Prince and Kailvin but it was really not enjoyable to play it myself. There were simply too many menus and screens and sub menus and sub-screens and sub options that totally killed my desire to play Victoria 2. I am looking forward to more HOI4 episodes as I might purchase it.
Uncle Timo Thanks for the reply but that is not what I meant. I am not advocating that game should be easier. My point was ease of access regarding UI, not simplification of actual gameplay. A lot of UI in Victoria 2 could be overhauled to be more suited for easier information display instead of hiding it behind gazillion menus. There is no point in doing that. My point is: I would prefer if it is possible that my commands and ideas are easily put in motion trough better UI as well as better situation overview given back to me as a feedback. EU4 is really better in my opinion. Stellaris is also really good regarding that. But Victoria 2 is terrible in my opinion as well as previous HOI3.
Can you survive occupation if you're part of an alliance? For example, if you join the Soviets, can Germany force you to surrender in a separate peace, or does one side have to negotiate with the opposing alliance together?
Ive played CK2 and EU IV a bit (maybe 100+ hours or so) but im unfamiliar with HoI. Can i play as a totally neutral (like Switzerland for example)country without engaging into any wars, but helping others win or lose their wars ? Can it be done?
Am so tempted to buy this game. Marbozir is there any way to improve the quality of your generals for smaller countries like Poland/Turkey so you have a chance to succeed against larger countries like Germany/Soviet Union/USA who have legendary generals of their own?
Third Reich: Guten tag, Polen.
Soviet Russia: Privyet Polдnd.
Poland: Kurwa...
Seems accurate!
I have a feeling we'll be saying блядь after Marb gets to us.
France And GB: Ummm will pass on that one
+Wasudan ^^
:D
I'm in love that right now I'm subbed to over 7 channels playinging HOI4 and not a single one of them is playing the same country 😍
1000x more interesting then listening to the other lets play channels out there. U earned a sub.
I hope you win against the Reich, my Polish brother.
Your accent makes this video 20% better.
I'm loving the ominous music. Seems very fitting what with you playing Poland.. make Pilsudski proud!
With Marbz, I'd say Poland wins via domination victory. ironic seeing as this game seems to keep it close to historical fact as possible.
@26:00 Our wood barreled artillery will strike fear into the iron hearts of our enemies!
It's always great to see you premier a new game on the channel. It's really clear how excited you are which makes these videos so enjoyable to watch. :D
TY for explaining AND playing the game, others just make dull tutorials or just play and you dont understand shit, this is exactly what I wanted
Thanks for making these videos! I am a HOI newbie and your videos have helped me a ton!
I play Poland in every Paradox game (sentimentality, don't laugh) and I can't wait to give them a chance in HoIIV

looking forward to the next episode. it's always a joy watching Marbz playing these type of games
Its strange to say that, but that accent fits JUST PERFECT with this game, keep it up!
Polska!
why do I think this is another game Marbs will "make me buy". thanks for all the series Marbs almost to 70k!
I must say, I never thought I'd see a game with more trees than Civ. Well done Paradox, XD
Was I the only one like..... NOOO I WANTS MORE NOW!!!!!!!!!!! Love your vids Marbz >;-D Big thumbs up bud.
Good Luck Poland !
Thank you Marbs soo much for playing this for mee!
Released on the anniversary of D-Day - can't wait for this one!

oh my god I watch a series of yours many moons ago but could never remember your name was so glad to have stumbled upon this
HYPE HYPE HYPE let's go to SPACE !!!
But.. we cannot into space :(
One of the speciality of the polish army was the armoured trains.
This might seem a bit odd but could you say some of the names of the Polish commanders, etc. It would be nice to match the sounds with the spellings.
Not odd at all, great suggestion
I agree, to me it sounds like he tries to avoid it.
correction- sikorski died win a plane while taking off from giblartar, not in the uk. it is said that it was a plane accident, but some people believe that the accident was staged, and he was kille by brits. such suspicions are not backed with facts thought.

and civ 6 soon :]
You just had one with the Buccaneers.
please play civ 5 and never civ 6. the graphics on that game are terrible
Shayan Lahijanian It's too early to judge it based on graphics alone.
+Shayan Lahijanian That must be one of the most childish comments I have seen, just because the graphics are terrible that doesn't mean the game is shit.
Tbh I don't understand much about the game, but I enjoy watching changes on a map, plus Marbozir is a nice guy.
Thanks for doing this...your explanations are always very clear.
Hi Marbozir! I love your channel! It will be interesting to see how you will handle the germans. Looking forward to this series! Keep up up the good work with your channel! Greetings from Sweden!
+thajamc Thanks!
We all want full series ! Please do it !
Thank you for being so thorough, great video. Definitely subbing
Poland had the Witcher class Destroyer? hooo....
Qimodis
oh i see, i thought CDPR infiltrated Paradox to add that
yes
yes. didn't they sail on teacup ships with crumpet sails? sorry. (And no I don't actually think it's appropriate, but for the giggles, i would love to mod such things)
Witcher class Geralt of Rivia.
Great talk-through and great explanations, good job!
This is an awesome video. Thanks for all the information!
This series will teach me more about the game than any other tutorials* or guides.
*Including in-game one.
yes yes it teaches more than the in-game ones. I'M LOOKING AT YOU PARADOX! LEARN TO CREATE TUTORIALS PROPERLY!
Excited to see more. Very nice!
Liked at 0:00 because Poland :P
I actually also like content where the whole series is not about steamrolling nations (Like much other gameplays out there on many strategy games). Wanna seeee moar!!! :D
Playing Poland? You madman! I love you!
This is going to be interesting, to say the least. But then again, Marbozir leading Poland? That's awesome! What could possibly go wrong? :p
Awesome game! Looking forward for more.
The music in this game is amazing!
I'm a little bit angry on Paradox, becouse Roman Dmowski (advisor here) wasn't a fascist. He didn't even support ONR. He was a national-liberal with neoslavic ideas... But except for that, game looks awesome.
I like the music in the game. It gives it quite the atmosphere.
Good luck!
Thanks! I'll need it. :p
Really? Marb with HOI series? This is great news. HOI is great game franchise IMO. Hope you enjoy your own history-making.
I sure will! HoI4 is a lot of fun so far.
Three more days ... argh.
Very exciting, and you're taking on the biggest challenge in the game yet among any other youtuber I've seen! Would it be alright to ask if you would say the names of places and leaders as you go on too? I'd like to know how those names sound :)
Poland, Poland über alles, über alles in der Welt!
I bought it thinking ohh that looks cool then i got scared lol. This is actually pretty helpful. Not saying i disliked the game it's just so so deep in terms of gameplay and strategy games are not my forte!
Poland has a ship..Wicher Class, Interesting.
I see what you did there. Btw. "Wicher" means strong wind in Polish.
It wasn't class, it was name of that ONE destroyer. Also there were another destroyers. Sorry for English.
It's pronounced Viher tho. Witcher in Polish = Wiedźmin
Gee, you went pretty far in order to avoid the joke he was trying to make. I'm impressed.
Sorry to ask, but… is your accent real? And where is it from?
It sounds really fascinating…
I am indeed. ;)
Did you really ask him if his accent was real? What answer did you expect?
Poland can into space
pitthepig It was more a figure of speech. I've been to Poland and met some Poles but they had less of an accent.
So, everyone, don't get me wrong, I think Marbozir's accent is great, but I had no idea where to localize it. Also great video, thanks ^^
My was Polish...but her accent was no where near as cool...Marbozir must be from a special village :))))
great vid mate
Brilliant tutorial. Thanks!
Love your Eastern European accent, where are you from exactly? :)
He's from Poland.
most likely from India
No, He sounds like he's polish. (Although I also guessed that at first)
if there is a possibility that the addition of Polish subtitles for movies ? :D
Finally a strategy game where poland isn't overpowered. I'm looking at you civ 5
poland is not that op... yry babylon for size
Music's somewhat reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan.
This will probably be short. Good luck!
Love your intro SO MUCH :)

Hello Marbozir. Nobody seems to be playing USA or Great Britain on youtube. Would love to see you play either of those as your next campaign :) (I would prefer historical :p)
Someone did a fascist USA, and UK, but i'm late so i assume you found those .-.
Came here to say I would love to see some more HoI4 videos if you would like to play Marbz!
I'm gonna get this game, watch Bridger's tuts and follow along this LP and I think that should teach me the game in its full entierty.
Dudeeee, You Actually speak very good in terms of grammar and Vocabulary, but this accent makes You sound like some Soviet version of bender from futurama with a mix of steven hawking thrown in...AWESOME
Why do you say Civilian Factory like "Svidan Factori" lol love your accent
umm can you not hear the accent
+StellWair I just said i liked his accent, so I am aware there is an accent, ya dingus
Oh shit your right, sorry
You are the reason games are so dumbed down.
Don't buy the game if you can't be bothered to learn it and then complain about it saying its a bad game...
Uncle Timo Thanks for the reply but that is not what I meant. I am not advocating that game should be easier. My point was ease of access regarding UI, not simplification of actual gameplay. Great video, where are you from?
Marbo, when net Civ 5 series?
Can you survive occupation if you're part of an alliance? For example, if you join the Soviets, can Germany force you to surrender in a separate peace, or does one side have to negotiate with the opposing alliance together?
Does saying it's fun break the embargo? I've seen a few let's plays so far, yours, quills, etc. This game really looks like a blast! :D
I don't think paradox would mind if marbozir complimented the game
I KNOW YOU AFRE FROM POLAND!!! :D Iam from Slovakia and that accent it brings memories :D
Go, go cavalry! Oh, and the 7-TP's of course ^_^
Is it special beta access? Will I get it if ill make preorder of game?
How can you play it before June 6, I already preorder it but still cannot install.
Oooh! Next play through play as Australia xD
hi I am Brazilian. I am part of HOI group 4 , the same as you , so far I have not found any torrent. I'm looking for it
Ive played CK2 and EU IV a bit (maybe 100+ hours or so) but im unfamiliar with HoI. Can i play as a totally neutral (like Switzerland for example)country without engaging into any wars, but helping others win or lose their wars ? Can it be done?
You can play every single country in the world. Only the major players + Poland have unique national focus trees, though.
Also depending on how things turn out, you might not remain neutral for very long if you plan to be in Europe.
Am so tempted to buy this game. Marbozir is there any way to improve the quality of your generals for smaller countries like Poland/Turkey so you have a chance to succeed against larger countries like Germany/Soviet Union/USA who have legendary generals of their own?
Marz get as many people as u can to play with u Quill Arumba and Shen
Don't forget Marco and Ben!
A proper Intermarium co-op campaign with them would be great.
Is this with DLC? Because I dont have the focus tree for Poland
that "little detail" :D
Wait let me get this straight - YOU CAN PRODUCE THINGS EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE NECESSARY RESOURCES TO PRODUCE THEM?
Wow.
you so lucky! keep this up
Poland can into nukes?
Yes, they can also into space!
Is that a thing that could happen?
shrokbouf
Yeah, you can get nukes as every nation I believe.
Hooray!!
how strong is Czechoslovakia compared to Poland from your expirience?
Strange, I always hear hear 1946 and 1949 (beginning of video)
I'll preorder it 2 hours before it comes out...lol
Comrade nice play
How long does one game usually take? I'm really interested in this game but I dont have the patience to play on set up for 10hours +
If you can't stomach playing 10+ hours this likely won't be a game series for you. Campaigns in paradox games can last hundreds of hours.
Hundreds of *GLORIOUS* hours!
Can Polan into defence?
Jedziemy
Have you beaten it with Allies Poland? I pushed to berlin but then got backsmacked my Romania and Bulgaria afterwards :/
Where are you from? That's an epic accent you got going there! :D
Sounds like Polish, how patriotic!
He is Polish
plays as Polandcompletely non bias
I fucking love you for this let's play !
this guys voice is awesome.... I just want to hear him say "nuclear vessels".
borat is that you ...? very nice
let's go!
a chance for another western betrayals... on France and England!!
