- Today was a fun day at home, as much as we love the parks we love silly days at home just as much! We tried a new (to us) breakfast place and weren't super impressed then we worked on the vid and had a live show. We had so much fun chatting with you guys in the mail vlog! Thank you to those who watched! We had some footage from the day we had our insulation installed so we added that in too. Don't worry, we made sure to update you guys on the bathroom lol! It looks pretty much the same. We had some taco salads and watched terrible reality TV, all in all it was an awesome day at home! Thank you for tuning in even on these less eventful days and we'll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Tim, brother, I love your channel. America needs more couples like you and Jen in the media. Please continue to do what you do. Please, just an idea, explore casting calls with the travel channel. I would love to see you guys on the tv. My wife and I enjoy your relationship and love for one another. BTW, I'm so jealous of you. I love Orlando and currently looking for employment to move back.

That's so funny that you in Florida are describing Wawa and 7-11 near each other. Since the '60s in southeastern Pennsylvania that is what there was. Now Wawa is all over Florida, too! Not too many 7-11's up here now, though.

Hi Tim & Jenn! Next time you cut an onion you can try these three tips (maybe most effective if you COMBINE them for maximum power):
Put the onion in the freezer for about half an hour before cutting to kinda keep the juices from spraying out as much.
Wear some kind of eye protection or chew gum (my mom came up with this one...)
Also, don't cut off the lil rooty part of the onion until the very end when you've finished your slicing or dicing.
Let us know if those hacks are effective!

Your home is looking good. I'm sure you will get to the outside eventually, power washing around the pool for example. :). Food looks yummy!!! Maybe think about a cook at home segment?!!

Loved the vlog, I hope you keep us up on your remodeling job...I have been there with an older house...never know what you will encounter...I think the foam insulation idea in the bathroom is a good idea, cant have enough moisture barrier, also put a little fan in the ceiling that will keep your ceiling from getting mold after a shower...Now the breakfast place..have you done a vlog on the place you like? If not, I would like to see it to compare the look and feel of the place...you got me interested...we all grow up eating food a certain way...or tasting a certain way...it is very hard to change our ways, even if it is not popular with another. I am in a easy to cook phase of life, I would have like to have seen the steps to make that taco salad, and maybe even some margaritoes......hehe and I also watched the reunion show....Below Deck...they were crazy this season...all of them. Blessings.

I have found that with the different colored onions, the closer to white, the more tearful fumes.

When cutting onions if you use a very sharp knife you won't cry. I love your videos!

I love First Watch. It is a chain, but it is still fresh and good food. Ours just opened last year and I go a lot.
Haven't watched the video yet.. but we tried Keke's when we went to Orlando for my birthday in February and it was bomb! Had the Florida pancakes and turtle French toast combos
I guess we'll have to try First Watch next time!
