They wrote the song to sort of criticize the fakeness of the LA celebrity party scene. With people pretending to be something they're not, and only caring about you if they can use you for something.
Yes, it's a guitar effect. And the song is a critique of the shallow celebrity culture that they encountered while living in L.A. during the writing of their upcoming album.

thanks again for the reaction, the Maneskin were the guests of honor at the final of the Eurovision because they are the winners of the previous year of the singing competition. Damiano unfortunately was subdued because he had a sprained ankle, in fact, if you watch him move a little and in the end leaning on Thomas with a grimace of pain. I'm sorry because many commenting on this song as too commercial, but it is not for me, are 4 young guys trying to break through on their own in the international music (because ltaly removed Laura Pausini and Tiziano Ferro there are no other international artists). they did a radio song, that's all, then they have always mixed genres, I have always followed them since the first audition of X Factor 2017. I regret the contrary as many people call it the most beautiful song of Maneskin because it was then produced in the US America is quality, the rest probably not. although this song, as I said I really like, for me the most beautiful songs of Maneskin are probably those in Italian and then they have become famous singing mainly in Italian. The music here in Italy has a very ancient history and the Sanremo Festival is the oldest music festival in Europe, I continuously from Italian to appreciate the music of my country
I think it's a cool song, not my favorite by them, but I like it regardless and I think they did great with the performance, I noticed he wasn't running around, but the presence still fit the song... I've listened to all their albums now, hard to pick a fave song, but I think Chosen is my fave
but how do you like this musical group???they really suck!!!!you see them at the various awards ceremonies, well, the maneskins play on playback (see music by harward) they were without jack on guitar and electric bass!!! !they only cover bad songs!!!It's hard to find a band that can't get you a cover, very rare in 2018. However, you still come across musical realities so bad they border on obscene,(maneskin)because sometime the bands sucked but they played their fucking unreleased. hints Now you're exhausted with the tapas and you don't ask yourself 2 questions, you can't understand that in the first bar downstairs you'll find the same thing for free, without queuing, beer from 0.3 to 5 euros, without noise pollution. the simple reason that a band cannot have a guitarist who is out of time and looks like one who used the money from the lessons to buy guitar hero. The only ones who are saved are the singer (that scratchy becomes croaked, christ) and the drummer (poraccio, he has to do the job for 3 people) who try to put on track a perpetually out of tune and late bassist and a guitarist who is getting more and more advanced in Compass. Rushing is perhaps the most common mistake, especially for those who are just starting out. Let's hear from you in 4-5 years, you'll (maybe) finally understand how to play live, when you have a genre of music in your head that you can come up with without screwing someone up. He said it for the Killers (the link below is not recommended for faint-hearted music lovers) and many others, leaving them in their place, trying to get their dick off writing some songs. i was surèroised about moog-synth effect too. But then i realize than moog is almost 60 yrs old (!) Many songs of the 60s (say the house of the rising sun) used it. It talks about about the dark side of modelling world, where everything is just a real show even life itself (they realized it that when in LA for a while).

I'm not a music critic, but I've predicted what bands would stand the test of time, for instance, Modest Mouse, The Strokes, The Neighborhood, etc. I just recently stumbled upon this band searching for something new and different on the radio, and low and behold - BAM!!! I've got that gut feeling we'll be hearing a lot more from MANESKIN, if not, it only means they let fame and fortune go to their heads like so many other great bands have done in the past. In regards to this, I'm hoping they put their fans first because, without us, no one would even know who they are besides themselves.
sometimes a band just stands out as raw talent. i dont think you have to be a music critic to see that.
