- This is the first time I have taken my Jeep through Pritchett Canyon. It turned into a very challenging day. My power steering had gone out two days earlier. My front locker quit working on the first obstacle. Then on the way up yellow hill my ring and pinion started slipping and failed. I drove out about 15 miles with the front differential banging and grinding. It looks like it is time for some upgrades! I probably would not recommend taking a Dana 30 front axle through Pritchett Canyon.
Nothing about this looks like fun! Waiting in line behind 10 other Jeeps only to winch up obstacles while people sit around shooting vertical videos to show their Mall Crawlers on a rock....Hard Pass!
That old Bronco half cab is awesome! I WANT ONE! 🤩
But my momma always said “Son, be proud of your Dana30. Don’t let them Dana60 boys push you around” 😢
< ------ Randon internet guy saying, time to upgrade to one tons and forties! What a range of builds in that group. Loved the white Bronco.
2 doors are scary while rock crawling
This is why the new non-unlockable front hubs suck......on my ancient CJ I could just unlock the Warn hubs and eliminate that horrible clunking and grinding.
In all reality you shouldn't be off roading in a jeep.
The ol lil Bronco was the baddest crawler out there. I want one those!! I'm scared of jeepers creepers when you least expect a failure it happens.
Rode thAt on my bicycle before the jeeps tore it up
Crawl under with the proper tools and remove the front driveline.
Time to call Rory
What kind of locker do you have in the Willys? Are you still using the stock LSD in the rear?
You gotta winch it up ? 😂
Was the 30 locked?
Let me guess....5.13s?
I got through there with 26-in tires, rear wheel drive only with no locker, no winch.
