With such a tree you can hardly take bad photos.
But that cactus is also very beautiful, especially those three red balls on its head. I know you like details but I also really like that silhouette, friend. You are again in a beautiful location where you can always take photos. The strength of your work on UA-cam is that you fantastically prepare yourself. This way the video becomes more than a photography video. This is why I've been enjoying your videos for so long, my friend. I regret that I can no longer go out, my legs no longer allow this. But I continue to enjoy my photography. It's quite a climb up there, buddy. But a beautiful view. The food looks very good there. After a night of a lot of misery and spasms, I could use this video. Hi Keith &Teena, I'm so glad we don't have anything native here in the UK that will poke, bite or sting you ! ❤ the upload, reminds me of the hike up to Delicate arch, that one slowed me down on a late summer evening!
One difference with Delicate Arch is some of the paths will kill you if you take a wrong step! Maybe there are some ledges at Enchanted Rock but mostly a fall there would include a short tumble at most!

That Texas landscape looks almost other-worldly. That climb reminded me of smaller version of Half Dome in Yosemite. I've only seen videos of it, but have always fancied climbing it. Thanks for taking us along! Oh yeah... I was trying to tell by your shadow, but were you shooting with the Pocket 3 or was that a GoPro? Have you decided which you like better yet? Pocket 3 video is top notch but the truth is, the battery was exhausted by the time we got to Enchanted Rock so it had to stay in the car while we hiked! I have backordered two more batteries for it. So yes I was carrying the trusty Action cam.
Prickly pear is regarded as invasive here in Australia, its pretty well controlled now as far as i know but is still around in patches including in a small bushland area about 1.5km from my house
Natives used it for sustenance here but it does take over if let alone! Thanks for watching
I think I may have enjoyed the bbq more than the hike. We are getting torrential rain here on the east coast today, so I'm catching up on videos
Yeah it was counterproductive to do the hike and then go consume all those calories 😂
