I don't know if you ever use pearlescent inks, but Dealer Rowney has one called Silver Moss. It's a very pale greenish pearlescent that is great for adding accents. It's gorgeous! ❤️
I have always been tempted by their pearly inks, just wasn’t sure. Do you mix them in with other colours as well? 🧡

@@AlyonasWatercolourCreations I am going to use them in an attempt to make some reverse coloring sheets. I saw the reverse coloring idea in some color books while I was surfing on Amazon and thought I could do that myself since one of my favorite things to do is take my watercolors and other liquid colors and put them on paper and watch them play together. :) The swatching helps me a lot since I have a low budget for art supplies being a substitute teacher and can see beforehand which colors I would like to invest in first. But I am huge on swatches and love to do them myself and watch utube videos featuring them. So, your abstract painting has given me some guidelines/ideas on how to go about putting the colors to paper also. I want to start a botanical sketchbook, too, but don't want to start acting on all ideas at once. :)
@@margwong8416 starting with one idea is always fun, you never know where it will take you! I find structure helps me a lot. Otherwise I just get confused and art doesn’t feel right, often times that’s how I overwork it. But even there I sometimes can find useful traces of creativity that can be further explored! 🧡

Thankfully the color you swatched twice is absolutely gorgeous 😅😍😍😍 I just love watching ink swatches they always have a special place in my heart even though I don't get to paint with them much nowadays 💔

@@AlyonasWatercolourCreations unfortunately I don't have much time to paint freely, and I tried painting under pressure or breaking up an illustration into small periods of times and it just didn't work 😅 hopefully in the future I'll get to play with them again 👏🏼

Have you tried to mix them with granulation medium? They respond well to it.
Yes, works beautifully. I tried it on a couple of colours. 🧡
Have you noticed whether any of these are prone to issues with lightfastness?
I haven’t. My understanding is that depending on colour of course most of the F.W.s are lightfast. But I haven’t tested them personally. 🧡
