Bad move on the nut and bolt plug. Nut will back off and guess what you ain't going any where fast but a dead broke stop , will be your best move. Good luck...

Matt Noguera set your valve clearance There may be trash in the carb clean it You may have an issue with the valve decompression on the cam shaft or the lobes on the camshaft are worn .
>_< no explanation. Why do you put in the metal rods at the valves? I know you should put in stronger valve springs if you remove the governor but those don't look like springs to me. Also you forgot to put a rubber ring on the nut and bolt you used to seal the governer arm hole. That aside, using a mark is a clever way to know how the gear goes back in, I'll remember that one! Can you do a video on how the gas and choke configuration goes on top now you removed the governor? I can't find any vids that explain that.
The stock springs are installed back. The metal rods are the push rods. We pulled the cam shaft out to create some room. When you remove the camshaft, the cam lobes and pushrods fall out. So whe just put them back together when we where done with the governor removal. Now (a few years later) the engine still runs. The bolt did never leak and didn't came loose.

Can you breif why governor is removed.. what are the benefits for removing it
The governor restricts the gas intake and in turn, the max rpm's. Taking the governor out will increase power, but may reduce the life of the engine.

Did you forget the washer that was under the governor cause kinda looked like it!
So I did this exact thing and now my engine has too much compression and won't let me pull to crank. help please .

You did something wrong. On the camshaft is a decompression cam for easy start. Leave this alone.
