Saltwater pen fishing, but put a decent reel on there. Like the Penn Battle II 4000. (I want to see that rod bend.)
You can also try in saltwater without adding a decent reel.

Great rod for rockpool fishing for blenny, goby, sea scorpion etc. I've killed time whilst waiting for a bite by hand-lining a small hook with small prawns I netted into a rockpool, it's good fun watching them come out of hiding and counting the species ... at least for me.
Got a day off school on Tuesday. Hopefully getting out with mine then. 🎣🖊

Last year I bought a pen rod, there are so mich fun. Unfortunately the drag system locked and the rod snapped, I've just ordered a new one, can't wait to get back on the pen rod. I caught a PB at the time 15.9 lb carp on the surface a few lower doubles and then smaller carp of around 8 and under. Will be going after some perch when it arrives!!

After your first pen rod challenge, I had to get one. I just got it in the mail today. It's a fly rod combo. Maybe you guys could do a pen rod fly fishing challenge!

either use it to fish some really small bodies of water, random little ponds etc or try and land some pike on it
i used to use a little telescopic like that when i was a kid not quite as good quality as that one tho, good memories of simpler times, bring it out conger fishing pretty sure that will snap it in two.

My son out fished me with the pen rod i bought him after we'd watched the first video. He had rudd to 2lb. Great fun i can't wait to have a go if i can get him off it Keep up the good work.

I think I got that same rod years ago. Like maybe 10 years ago. I sadly lost the cap pretty quick as I was probably around 10 years old. Losing the cap made me very sad but still a great rod and reel... until I neglected to properly wash the reel and it got all rusted. (I live in Hawaii so salt water) I ended up pipe clamping a regular reel to it because the attachment points are too small for a regular reel. Works fine, caught a few nenue with it. About a 2 pound fish with a lot of fight to them. Only con about this pole is it can’t cast very far. So I find using a floater works best. Also, it makes even the smallest fish feel big.

Hi guys my son and I are long time anglers and follow your Chanel and now we have ordered 2 of these and gonna have our own challenge
Keep the rod low when you play the fish. Don't stretch it when netting and maybe change the line.Take most of the strain on the reel and put the reel on backwind as well if you hook a decent fish .We were filming with them again today.Film in the edit and ready to schedule.Good luck.
Cheers but had picked that up from the vid we fish for big carp and catfish but love fishing on light tackle I'm 66 yrs old and and when I watched grahams video fishing with potatoes brought back memories we will be filming our own little challenge. Keep up the good work top guys
