  • Part 2 of the Basket weave Walking Stick, we will go over the finished product and get into more details about laying out the pattern and transferring it to the round shape. Decided to keep it simple and not embellish the handle or base. Hopefully you enjoyed this project and let me know your thoughts and ideas for future projects. Thanks.
    Also, please take time and see my second walking stick, the "Dragon Walking Stick" just released;

    Damn fine job.
    Working on one myself.
    Gonna have to bite the bullet and buy some power tools haha.

      Thank you for the comment. Can’t wait to see your creation, but you don’t need power tools to complete one... it does shorten the process however.

      @@JasonHedrich oh I know. I've done one without them, and while it was fun...yeah it the took forever and I know I could have done cooler designs with some. Will post this next one for sure though, thank you!

    Would love to see some more of these bud! Can you do a spiral walking stick?

    • @JasonHedrich
      @JasonHedrich  5 років тому +1

      Thank you for the comment Allen! Great to hear you liked it... I am working on another carving and it'll be ready in about a month, I will release a video once its complete. And yes, a spiral walking stick is possible and easier to layout the pattern than the basketweave. I will start planning something...

      @JasonHedrich  6 років тому

      Hi, thanks for the comment! I appreciate it... its about 4'2" tall and 1-1/2" in diameter. I wouldn't be able to tell you a cost because I've never sold one, it took about 24 hours over 3 weeks (nights and weekends). Glad to hear you enjoyed it!

    I do not know IF you realize this, but the further you are from your camcorder, your voice fades away fast, and the closer you get to camcorder, the louder your voice is!!! When you talked further away, I desperately tried to turn my sound up, but it wasn't enough so I missed a bit of what you said; that's okay, keep it going, encouraged me!!!

    • @JasonHedrich
      @JasonHedrich  8 місяців тому

      Yes, this was one of my first videos and I've upgraded the equipment since... Hopefully it fixed the sound issue.
