Dieting on vacation is one of the most common questions that we get. People often are worried about how a vacation will affect their progress. But in your long term plans, you don’t have to worry about being perfect on your vacation.
Progress comes from consistency. One bad week on vacation won’t hurt you. You can make sure that you don’t lose your progress by doing exactly what you were before you went on vacation, getting back on track. Don’t let one bad week make you feel unmotivated.
When you go on vacation, you can make great strides towards your health in other ways besides working out and eating clean. Vacations can be used as a way to mentally recharge and experience good times with friends and family, aspects of health that are often overlooked.

I know this video is about nutrition and he gave some tremendous points
but the life coaching tips he gave were even more amazing! Mad respect.
I am getting ready to leave for vacation. Thanks for the reminder not to sweat the diet stuff. Just get back on track is the best advice! 😃
Absolutely Rose. The vacation is your reward for all your hard work. Don't make vacation hard work too.
Thank you, I'm working on working off 30lbs (10 down) with calorie deficit and working out and we're going on vacation in a few months and it was making me anxious. I'm just going to go, have fun, not count and enjoy myself. Then get back to it the day after we get back. I needed to hear this!
This has been my life throughout my lifting career. I go hard for weeks on end then after some days on vacation where I don’t lift or eat the best, I think I fail and lose that fire. Realizing we are all human and how short life is the key. enjoy those “off” days then just continue to grind after. I think that’s the key when it comes to a true all around fitness lifestyle. Thanks for the video.
Cheers
Everyone deserves to treat themselves on vacation. I bust my ass all the time so I can just forget about dieting and all that for that vacation. I look at it as my reward and as soon as vacation is over I get right back to where I was. For instance, I have a cruise coming up in a month and I can't wait for that reward but I am busting my ass up to that day.
Really great advice, thank you
Awesome advice. Thanks
Thank you I needed this
Great advice. This guy was pretty cool on the podcast as well
Great advice! Thanks ❤
I needed this.
Very good.
Needed this. Going to Turkey for 10 days where my diet is gonna go down hill
Thanks bro
Really needed to hear this. I feel less guilty now 😊
Excellent!
Amazing video!! Has given me some new ideas for some videos on my channel!💪
I am on vacation right now and thank God no bloating and my clothes still fit. I eat three meals a day, no snacking and i don’t count calories. I go out on protein ( beef, pork, fish and chicken) but stay away from sausages and deli meat because they contain a lot of sodium. I have managed to not eat any dessert except for a small portion of chocolate I ate the other day ( which by the way caused me unnecessary cravings). Because I have been eating so much protein, I am usually so satisfied at the end of my meals that there’s no room for deserts . For me it’s not about restricting food , it’s about how good I feel. I feel light as a feather every morning when I wake up and I get to enjoy my day to it’s fullest, no sluggishness and unbearable constipation…that’s worth it for me. My advice is know yourself, do what works for you. People will tell you, eat all you can on a vacation and get back on your normal diet regimen when you get home. But that is not always that simple. I once gained 8kg on a one week vacation and it took me almost half a year to get back on track! Lesson learned 😂
This dude's dope
I'm going to share with my bf... last time we went on vacay he made us diet and go to the gym there...I was so pissed. (I kinda slacked on the diet but I had to go to the gym because i had to let him in as my guest.)
I wanna not but I have been on so many trips that I’m delaying my progress cuz every time I leave out of state I am eating and regaining and losing and back and forth 😩
If someone gained a bunch Weight and was complaining about it from one week of vacation I would just tell them to take alot of magnesium and take a giant dump. Maybe run with sweat clothes on and burn off all that extra water.
Lol so damn true 😂
Get back on Track 😊 when you get back home 😀
Fitnesss. its for life!!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I mean just don't eat a bunch of junk when you're on vacation? When you eat from the hotel buffet's just skip the dessert section even though they're like um the best part of the buffet.
Were you really talking dieting on vacation?
