Wise words, my ex left suddenly 2 weeks before we suppose to go to my home country on little holiday and to meet my mom, without apology. My mom passed away in January. My ex broke up with me by ghosting me a month later. We were together almost two years. I know she'll never reach out because she's most likely feeling extremely guilty for what she did.
I went into NC as soon as I realized what she did. I never called or texted her. Her birthday was in May and I said nothing but suddenly in July she blocks my number. I figured she was waiting for me to call her up and do my best Keith Sweat impersonation.
I don't want her back. After what she did? Never! The only thing I want from her is a sincere apology. I'll probably never get it because she's a coward. I'm still fighting feelings of anger, sadness, and depression but I think I'll get through this eventually. Oddly enough, the only time I don't really think about her is when I'm at work. My co workers take my mind off of her without them knowing anything about my situation.

He reached out to wish me happy birthday which was 10 days after he blindsided me with the breakup. The only reason he did it is cuz he felt guilty cuz it was a milestone birthday for me & cuz we were supposed to spend the day together. He knew how important spending my day with him was, yet he strategically broke up with me 20 days prior to my bday. I responded to him 3 days later with "Thx" & I haven't heard from him since. The only reason I want him to reach out again is to have an honest conversation about why he lied, faked his feelings & chose to discard me the way he did. However, if I never get that convo, I'm ok with that. He can't provide me any closure cuz I can't expect what hurt me to heal me.

This is exactly what happened to me, he was keeping reaching out and I after I got all the signs and the indirect but valid answers, I sent him a very short and kind message telling him that this is my way to put an end to our story with the respect it deserves. And very kindly said goodbye to him implying this is forever. Thank you for this video. Because I was worrying whether I did a mistake with this reaction. But no, this is what had I to do to save my dignity and save the memories I have from this person at least before my good emotions turn into hate or something like that. Thank you ❤

Sadly, my ex randomly blocked me during NC. Actually 2 days after her birthday. I tried two times around the first week of the break up to talk but she didn't. We weren't toxic or even yelled. To this day, I don't understand why she decided to want a relationship or why she kept me on all socials after the break up to block me. I even worked hard on myself during NC.

Had quite a mature breakup a few weeks ago. We both went into NC right away from the moment we broke it off. Neither of us have reached out. Have you seen a lot of situations like this? I'm in a tricky situation as I am overseas for work and need to get my stuff out of her place when I go back home in a few weeks, and one of us will need to contact the other eventually here.... neither of us have taken down social media posts we have with each other, neither of us have blocked the other. It's been tough but have been able to remain strong nonetheless (for all of you out there struggling right now - you can do it).

@@remyd1984 oh no yeah she wanted to end it haha it's been brewing for pretty much the last year now. We have had almost a 9yr relationship - where we have both just loved each other like crazy (with ups & downs of course). She just started losing some attraction & interest due to some reasons in our relationship. I've always been quite independent and done a lot of things without her- and vice-versa, so it wasn't because I was being over-bearing or needy. I honestly told her right from the start I would do anything for her and that we are stronger together, but also told her that I'm a self-respecting man and won't beg for her as it has to come from within her to want this too.

Ayo ! Great advice but if she dumped you , you shouldn’t rush to see her. No there might be a punishment of some sort otherwise the behavior will repeat itself and longer. I did it the first time she went ghost. I reached out. I did the pipe work. The second time she disappeared for 4 months and reappeared and start talking about the past. I just asked if she got something to say that concerns the present moment. She said nothing. It means these girls know what they are doing and understand the power dynamic. Don’t fall for it fellas. She must submit and make it up to you
She dumped me, i didn't beg chase or dispute the situation, went into NC straight away. Two weeks later she messaged me on my bday, I've done the pump fake and am now waiting. This period seems harder than the initial NC. Any tips as to what to escalate with of she dosent reach out again? One thing that scares me is my ex fiancee showed up 7 years later after cheating on me and ghosting me....we rekindled a freindship...and after 6 months of just friendship...i saw none of the old red flags like having to fight tooth and nail for a place in her life in the beginning or her becoming so cold and unempathetic to the pain my heath disorders put me in...she grew as a person so much..a relationship blossomed.....only for things to end nearly identically...i still dont see any of the old red flags or any new ones now....id like to think people can change...but maybe the flag was how they left originaly......if they can live without you once....even if they grew tremendously...they can and will choose to live without you again....but that shakes my faith of any 2nd chances because its unpredictable even when all signs point toward the positive

imo, unless the intentions are clear that the ex wants you back, don’t settle for a friendship - you’d basically accept the fate of being a back up and live in misery if you still have feelings
I’d simply ask them what would this friendship entail and when will it stop? (example: as soon as your ex finds someone new?)

How to handle the situation. The guy suddenly became very cold. Even put a restrict on social media. I went to no contact. I saw no direct fault in myself. I was there for 23 days until he suddenly started looking at my story. Never watched during NC. I didn't look at his either. On the 27th NC day, he even sent a comment on my story with a question. one word and a question mark. so he took off the restrict. I didn't answer right away and when I looked again in the morning, I had been blocked. and my best friend too. He knows, that we are talking everything and this friend brought us together. previously, the guy watched all my friend's stories. and now he block her too.

Almost been 60 days since the breakup and at 18 days this is the longest of no contact . The last time we spoke she texted me first saying she missed me and thinks about me daily and now I haven’t heard anything from her since. We were together nearly 6 years. Losing hope slowly day by day which sucks because I know we were compatible and worked well together but I think she just can’t get over some things
