I've got nearly the exact truck! 2000 dodge dakota 5.7L 5 speed manual, same packages as you except the sport. Got any preventative maintenence advice? I'm pretty attached to this truck, and I dont want her goin anywhere 😂 I hear a lot of people hate dodge and say they're absolute crap, but so far I've only ever had to get a new clutch (I tended to have a little too much fun when I first got it 😅) and replace the alternator. I've had her about 6 years now, only current issue is a bit of rust and squeaky ball joints 😂 the dealer installed and tightened them on a lift, haven't gotten around to replacing them yet. Bought her as is and couldn't get them to do it for me sadly, but I haven't had any real issues due to it, just makes her a bit squeaky when I'm out trail blazing 😁
