I can totally agree with this I have only had homebirths (2) with a midwife soon to be 3 if God is willing. My first pregnancy I exercised and stretched daily, took baths nightly and did breathing exercises to prepare for labour, when labour came I walked from the end of my hallway to my bedroom the whole time and I birthed on my knees with my ankles out and it was pain free with no tearing. My midwife said I birthed my baby perfectly and it was as if I had given birth before. But I really just listened to my body and did what came naturally to me.
@@da1nonly17 oh yes that definitely occurred but as far as pushing goes I pushed when my body started to on its own and I think that was why it wasn’t painful. I’m about to have my 3rd also. 37 weeks today! And congratulations on your 3rd.
This is so inspiring to hear! I 100% believe this is possible and hearing your testimonial really helps anchor this belief. Thank you for sharing! Also massive congratulations on two (soon to be three!) incredible births. You are Wonder Woman! ❤xxx
I can testify that with my 3rd baby I experienced the most manageable contractions near the very end of my labour. I was probably 8-9 centimetres & the pain was unbearable, I got to a point where I had exhausted all tension in me. I unknowingly let it all go and relaxed cause I thought I was dying, at that moment I realised I was having contractions but sailing through them pain free. I cannot explain it to this day, I just use to say the Holy Spirit took over. My point is when I couldn’t fight the contractions anymore i laboured with ease and my baby literally flew out of me I only pushed once. Painless labour exists 💯
I am 35 weeks and have a fibroid so I’ve cramped my whole pregnancy and when I have those episodes I try to work on my breathing and realized I clinch my lower “cheeks”… I practice relaxing them and just try to mentally clear my mind and know this is helping me get closer to my baby. I work out walk and lift weights I also stay on my ball stretching and moving my hips… praying for a wonderful natural birth… FTM

I’m so happy I found you. I like your videos so much I made a playlist to come back to when I’m in active labor. I’m 23 weeks and want to prepare early. I would love to go unmedicated, mostly because I want to feel what’s going on in my body. My first time was traumatic and I hated that I couldn’t move or feel my legs. Thank you for the helpful tips. I am only weeks in my 1st trimester but I want to practice these tips as early as possible. I am so happy my friend recommended you to me. I want a pain free experience. I don’t have much fear right now, only that my fibroids may cause complications but I’m trying to overcome my anxiety about that. God bless you. I look forward to learning more about a natural, and positive, birthing experience from you.
I’m 18 almost 19 weeks pregnant and I know I carry tension in those same places you mentioned. I also carry it in my feet according to my acupuncturist. Being aware of that is really helpful. Thanks for bringing it up.

Thank you for all the knowledge you share. Im 40 weeks and Im getting anxious and discouraged because i have had 2 c-sections but this time I want to try a tolac. I need to work on letting my fears go.
What’s your advice to finding what your fears may be? I feel so confident and ready to birth after 2 C-sections that I feel like my faith is just ready for it go perfectly but I don’t want to be naive and find my fears coming through last minute in labor?
You should become informed on all things childbirth and VBAC. You might not know what they are until you work with someone to dig into them. They might be small too which is still important to address. Your faith is so important in this process and it sounds like you have that. I can support if you’re needing it. I do this with my clients!
I am 30 weeks and 3 days pregnant with my first baby. 1st I move as in I walk for work but I have a lot of aches. If I start working out now swimming and yoga will that help my current pain and prepare me for hopefully a natural labor? 2nd I have fear around being forced to have an unnecessary C-section. If it’s medically necessary for me or my baby I can accept that. But it seems to be pushed when it isn’t necessary.
I love all you said. I'm wondering your thoughts on pregnancy with spd. Walking is so painful, and so much of my movements are very ridget and stiff. I can't squat and stretch much
I am sure there are some apps out there like this - are you wanting pregnancy workouts, postpartum recovery of what? I have heard of mamale but never tried it
My 2nd baby was natural unexpectedly and i labored in the car all the way to 8cm. When I went in the doctor said it’s almost time to push and I FREAKED OUT . The pain THEN KICKED IN . But it just dawned on me wait I literally calmly almost had my baby in the car . So I know this is possible . Baby #3 I fee I got this. Accupressure etc gonna watch your videos etc. it’s more challenging because I have anxiety anyway.
I find it totally manageable until almost the very end......and excluding the RING OF FIRE for a minute or so.....and I find it exhilarating and exciting and sort of cleansing .......but can we say not painful. I don't believe anybody can say THAT. What it doesn't hurt?........that's not true. You can sort of feel empowered by the pain and working thru it yourself but don't say it doesn't hurt.
For first time delivery, do we always require a cut to the perineum or does the outer hole stretch the size of the baby? If so, how do we help it stretch?
I find it really heard to believe that I can stub my toe or hit my elbow on something and it hurts like hell, but a human coming out of me can be pain free and enjoyable. Speaking as someone whose already had a baby.
The thing I’m most stressed about is I don’t want my mom there but I just know she’s somehow going I figure out I’m in the hospital and just show up or guilt trip me for not wanting her there. I don’t want that stress. Low key I hope I just give birth quickly and “by accident” at home in the shower lol.
It is totally okay to not want your mom there! If it throws you out of your birthing zone then make it known in your birth plan (and with the hospital/birthing center) that she isn't allowed in the room! How far along are you?
I definitely felt that I needed my mom by my side. It makes me feel stronger somehow. But if she makes you uncomfortable you can let the nurses know that if she shows up not to let her in and they won’t. Best of luck with your labor!
Here are some things you can do: tell your birth team she's not allowed to be present and don't tell anyone when you're going into labor. You can also do a bait and switch, like telling everyone you scheduled an induction for a specific day or a different hospital past your due date and then after you have the baby say, Oh, they came early! 😂 Depending on how trustworthy family and friends are you can let them in on it, but it's safest to not tell anyone tbh.
