Nice to see some options to the SKY high prices being charged by USA makers... I say this as a collector who has more Spyderco and Benchmade knives than any other brand. I am a little pissed off at Spyderco, the cost to produce the knives is very low and the pricing is way out of line. The under production of "sprint runs" has made it so $150 knives are selling on the secondary market for $460. The business interest in the USA are making more money by producing less product. (Real BS, Big oil is doing it, Car makers are doing it) all that said, Blade Show in a couple of weeks... Very likely to stack my purchases with USA product. Great Video.. Just got my blue qubit and I gotta say it is so good! The action is awesome and get this the button on it is better than my protech malibu. So smooth. 100% agree a little bigger blade it would be perfect. Same blade shape as the Manix 2. Only issue mine came with a terrible sharpening. Easy fix tho.
Great stuff! Do a $100-$200 price point next? I run a Fox Dart XT that was made as a partnership with Doug Marcaida. Amazing knife. I'd be curious of your thoughts.
The Pony Stouts sharpening choil keeps me up at night. I know I can fix it kind of but it really makes an eye opener on a blacked out knife. If Lefty was reviewing a knife that had a sharpening choil like that he would come unglued so I have mixed feelings right now. I love all his knives before this one and the growler is a favorite of mine. The Growler and Mash taught me how to reverse flick on a another level. You reviewing CJRB Riffe?
I got a big problem, I like all except the Divo Pony Stout but living in Europe the shipping and the importation taxes made all expensive. If anyway I have to pay a lot I prefer my several Spyderco models.
I look forward more to the videos where you review the knives you chose to buy with your own funds from Jim’s or elsewhere. I’m not saying you don’t like these knives! I’m just saying I can see a different enthusiasm when you source a particular knife you really want. 👍
I only really get super excited for the high end knives and to many people complain about them because they are usually hard to get but I do like these a lot I use them as my beater knives 👍🍻🍻

Current carry is the Giant Mouse Tribeca in Magnacut. Really didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. Once I added Skiff Bearings it became my EDC.

The wharnnie pyrite,mims and the sokoke were also in my most carried.

I don’t currently have the Riffe but I may pick it up later. I have to many CJRB knives at the moment to review so I have to hold off for a bit 👍🍻🍻

My top knife is a Winkler Crusher Belt w/rubber handle . If I am going to edc a knife that is it. I am big and fat I can hide it well

Black coatings on the blade look sharp until it starts rubbing off and then the knife looks like crap.
