    This was an awesome entry! As much as I love history I recognize much of it is Eurocentric and very “pop history”-y so having a digestible entry to Iran is so excellent!
    I’d love to see more!

    Most of the questions here were on the test i took couple years ago, but this only 1/3 of the math question. 2/3 of the other are the harder problems , lot of words problem, like works problems, age word problems. Those are hard to translate to number, so study those too

    Took the test, this doesn't compare to the test. They had plug in pemdas problems, insane graphs far from my understanding, number pattern, ect. Very tough when you are timed.

    I failed my test couple years ago when I tried had a dramatic brain injury and shouldn’t really have taken it at that time. But I definitely want to get back into it and your videos really help. I appreciate it and hopefully when I take it as a month or two after I studyat least an hour or two a day for the next month and a half I’ll pass, I failed the math part by two questions I think

    For number 13, I just divided by 3 instead of cross multiplying, in a different situation, would that be the wrong way to solve it? Did it only work when it’s a quarter, half or third?

    #11 could you explain that some more it’s difficult to understand how you came to the answer

    • @ColfaxMath
      @ColfaxMath  10 місяців тому +1

      The problem is about unit conversions, soon as you have more then seven days you convert to weeks. Five weeks nine days when added together, I then have to convert that to full weeks and days. The nine days becomes one week 2 days.

    Sorry for the very dumb question-but for question #13 how did You derive that it was 1/3 males in the class?I am 47 and have done zilch in decades and was always complete S#%T at Math in High school haha....dreaming of a IBEW apprenticeship...Thanks for all this

    • @ColfaxMath
      @ColfaxMath  Рік тому

      Good question. They give that 2/3 of the students are female so the rest must be males 1- 2/3 gets the 1/3

    • @tony2pac17
      @tony2pac17 Рік тому +3

      One really quick way I figured it out is look at the answers. Check what adds up to 36. The smaller one is the 1/3 “12” which it’s males. The bigger answer was for the 2/3 “24” which was the females. Saves a little bit of time for the rest of the test. Good luck. I test on the 16th of march.

      I know that the first time when I tried it, like half of the whole math part was graphing, and the quadratics and whole numbers and missing numbers only counted for maybe the first 15 questions, the other 20 or 25 or all graphing. Best bet is to try to know everything, at least the correct formula way to start it

      @joahpineapple3239 Рік тому +5

      @@gurshaanbasra3639 its not just connecting wires. youve got to know so much more. like for instance how many amps per volts could safely and adequately provide power per consumption. you need to know what things can take and transfer. like you dont want to power a home directly from a power line with out any type of stepdown. nor do you want to supply a specific draw with an improper rocker switch. nor do you want to supply a breaker with more amps than need to transfer voltage and you dont want to supply too many volts with not enough amps. different wires have different gauges and different gauges have different transfer requirements and limitations, especially when you need to transfer power over a distance
