Math help for the plumber's Exam. I go over the above test. These problems were sent to me by a student studying for the plumbers apprenticeship entrance exam. I went into My HVAC test COMPLETELY unprepared and arrogant at 47 yrs old not having done any classroom math in 3 decades....needless to say I failed abysmally but this time around I am not underestimating and want to go in OVERprepared....can anyone here say how close these questions are to the actual test?

I believe question 28 is wrong. you have to add both of those taxes and multiply them by the cost of the item and then add that total to that item cost. so instead it should be $71.85

there was no math on my test in Minnesota apprentice or journeyman test, it was all drawings and code questions

Top Saw I’ve been watching every one of your math reviews, preparing myself for the union plumber’s entrance exam. I have my test at the end of this month. I was told the exam would involve algebra, reading, and mechanical any tips on that? I’m located in California

The gallons to liters is 3.78 he gave wrong answer. The sawcuts at 1/8" are supposed to be deducted from total length not added to it. otherwise a good video.

You can print out the practice test from the link in the description, do that and check it against the video
4 gallon and 17 quarts divided by 4 when solving this and getting to 101 dividing by 4 what does the remainder stand for in this case

Is the plumbing apprentice aptitude test all the math? Or a mix of writing and math??
Mix of both, I only go over the math portion because that's what I know.

@@moparsrt822 I would rather over prepare and be ready then not prepared. Volume of cones and spheres is pretty easy just plug numbers in the equation, keeping track of order of operations
