Hi Neil, I'm so happy it helped you reach a decision! The GAP tool is definitely the way to go if you're working on your vehicle! 👍 Good luck with the purchase, enjoy it! 😉

Excellent job! You clearly did your homework! Thank you so much for the effort!! I did not know about the Kingbolen reader . . . I'm definitely research this on more! Thanks again from the USA!!
Hi Frank, welcome to our channel! 😊 Thank you very much for your great feedback, I'm really happy you found the video helpful and valuable! I'd definitely say do more research on Kingbolen and the GAP IID Tool, and check which one better suits your needs! 👍🏻
A lot of information, thanks. Is the air suspension recalibration module on the Kingbolen a standard feature or one of the subscription modules? Thanks again.
Hi Michael, I did a bit more research about it. This Kingbolen model cannot calibrate the suspension for this specific car model that I have, so I would look into getting the GAP IID Tool instead. I made a video here about the GAP tool and what you can do with it - ua-cam.com/video/LoSgF2QNKSM/v-deo.html Thanks for watching the video and for your positive feedback! 👍🏻
@@lifeasusual Thanks for coming back. I've checked with Kingbolen and for the benefit of others. The Ediag does include air suspension calibration for certain LR cars. My L320 RRS is included so that takes in L320 2005-2013. I'd GUESS that LR3 2004-2014 is also therefore covered but check with Kingbolen via their website. They were quick to respond. After the first free year, annual licence renewal is $90. Given that the Ediag covers 150+ cars, and doesn't VIN lock like the IID, seems to me to be a great option.
That sounds great! Thanks for sharing the knowledge here. 👍🏻 If it works for your car, then you might want to have a look at their full version because this was the Kingbolen Mini model. The full version will give you access to more features.
Hi I have 2007 range Rover Vogue TDV8. GAP OBD one will be more suitable I guess? I am no mechanical just curious at times.... My steering wheel started to dropped recently.... And I always have to adjust it manually using that small gear....a and also handbrake fault came up.... Brake fluid was low. I am. Just curious.
Hi! 👋🏻 Watch this video here ua-cam.com/video/LoSgF2QNKSM/v-deo.html - this is a more detailed video on the GAP tool and it may help you with making a decision whether the GAP OBD tool is the right one for you, and if it's worth investing in it. I hope this helps! 😊👍🏻
Hi Gregory, it depends on the engine that you have. You can contact GAP Diagnostic, and they should send you a remap for your ECU so you're able to close and open the EGR valves using the GAP diagnostic tool. 👍🏻 If you don't have the GAP tool, I made a video about it, this is the link: ua-cam.com/video/LoSgF2QNKSM/v-deo.html
Ciao Dra Gon!😊 Secondo me, il migliore tra tutti e tre è lo strumento GAP IID. Ma se vuoi risparmiare, puoi usare Kingbolen, ma non ha molte funzionalità, quindi sarà solo base.👍🏻
This is why at the end of the video I mentioned I'm not getting rid of my GAP tool and it'll definitely be the only diagnostic tool that I'll keep in my Range Rover😁, but not everyone can afford the GAP tool, and not everyone feels that it's a good investment if they don't work on their car much. So the least they can do is get something basic like the Kingbolen or a different brand, without breaking the bank. 💲 Because, in my opinion, every car owner should have a diagnostic tool in their car. 👍
Thanks for the information. This makes it an easy decision to get the gap tool.

Hi Craig, I've not had a chance to try this tool, but if I do, I'll make sure to make a video about it 😁 to compare it with the GAP Tool! 😊
Really good report. Excellent work. Thanks.

@@lifeasusual Yeah it was the full Ediag version, not the mini.

Hi guys I would like to manually increase the front suspension on my l320 at the front...can this be done by the gap mini that's £59?
Hi! No, you have to buy the GAP IID Tool (the expensive one) in order to be able to do that 👍🏻
How do I do an egr delete please

Every Range Rover owner should own a GAP or don’t bother 😅
