Hello Sir..I m from Kashmir as well. So glad, you admitted that you didn't know hw to cook and are willing to learn. There's no age to learn and cooking is survival skill that everyone be it a guy or girl should know. What made me comment here is a sad observation i hv made since chilhood, Kashmiri households take pride in their sons who can't cook or do basic home chores. It's always their mother or their wives.. My father, nvr makes his bed, and even if mom is busy he'll wait even past midnight for her to make bed. Not to mention, my mom is a working lady as well. But since he's a guy, he'll sit to watch tv after work while as mom will toil. Max. Ksshmiri household hv the same scene. Not proud of it. Hopefully things will change with our generation

The Kashmiri pandit version of gaad muj/nadur is bit different from this version. Pandit version lacks garlic ( onion and shallots too ), rest everything is same. Its reminding me of my mother's hand cooked gaad muj-nadru, looks too yummy 😋😋😋😋

Cooking is an art & God has gifted it to me As once my mom was not at home & papa bought fish & I tried to cook for Ist tym trust me I just did it exactly as you cooked by my own self naturally & it was tasty. But I love muma k hath ka bana huwa khana only I can cook better but not as like my maa. Another tip add turmeric to warm water it will taste better
My friends family are here from Srinagar and they invited me over for lunch ,coz they had made gaad and believe me it was just ausume . It’s very time consuming but will surely give a try . I did try the rogan josh and it turned out yummy.

I'm sorry this won't be available in hotels. You get wazwan there and other vegetarian dishes. But this an age old way of making fish curry at homes. So you'll be able to eat it at someone's home probably.
Try this without Garlic and only clove, black cardamom and do no soak the reddish overnight, this will become soggy, rest keep the same , at end add roasted zere (Cumin) power and Ajwand powder ...try this style
