Just wanted to say thanks you are doing an amazing job...yours is the go to channel for many kashmiris living outside ...im really disappointed at the negative comments ..it is a shame how some kashmiris try to discourage others trying to do something good and different ...Much love ❤
Hey ,, Thanks ... I used to carve for kashmiri food ,, I study in Banglore .... I watch ur receipies and then i cook myslf ...... Now i dont miss kashmiri food anymore ..... Thank Youuu
I tried... it was super!!!!! Dont worry about the language.. even if you speak french no one is blind they can watch and follow.... and English is a global language which enables non kashmiri try this awesome dish!!!!
So yesterday I tried the recipe out (largely because one of the comments made me twitch) and I must tell you the Harrisa turned out to be awesome. Wish I could post a picture here. Great simple recipe and awesome results. Must try
This is a delicacy of Kashmir and must only be tried in winter. The spices, meat etc. keeps you warm in cold climate and oil helps in that. Some of who are wondering why so much oil, well that is a part of the cuisine and a requirement in cold. But you can in principle add lesser oil and it will be as tasty.
Great.. I have never cooked but I promise I will make harissa this week .. it reminds me of my dad who use to bring harissa for us every alternate day in winters when we were kids.. nostalgic ☹️☹️ Thanks for making this look so easy 👍🏻👍🏻
trying it now zooni aapi. gotta go back to kiutchen for the arm workout ;) hope mine turns out like yours inn shaa Allaah. if I pass i will add that to my biodata ;P
Very good recepie...I loved the concept of potlli....I make it in different way but nxt time will try yr recepie...welcome.. keep up the good wrk..I am subscribing
Thank you so much sister, in Delhi i been looking all around to find best Harissa which doesn’t seem to be possible. Now that u have given me easy recipe I would definitely try making at home. Much appreciated 🙏 Bless u
You are really making our lives simple by your recipies . I tried it and it came out so good . My whole family enjoyed it and couldn't believe I made it ....😂 Have been hearing since ages making harisa is realy hectic job but you made it easy. Loved it ❤️
Your cooking is excellent, never had this before I have had haleem but never found any to my liking, but the harissa that you made looks good and mouth watering and your measurement of ingredients look exactly precise , if you were to add dal to this recipes about how much measurement with you put? Thanks
Absolutely great recipe!! Loved it. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work :) The only thing that I added was some saboot saunf to the harissa halfway through. I have always loved it in the Aali Kadal wala Harissa :)
Frankly nothing can be substituted for pran. Have you tried shallots(an inch size onions) available for tadka in grocery stores outside kashmir, they are quite close to Kashmiri shallots(pran). But not raw, fried and blended.
@@ZoonDaeb so ma'am can i use shallots in vaer masala...? Since praan have less amt of water compaired to onions and shallots...... Can i thickly cut the shallots and let its water dry a bit (in oven or sunlight separately) and then use it for vaer masala...
Yes sundry them, after washing shallots sprinkle salt and spread on cloth/towel. Salt will help to ooze out water, then you can deep fry them and then again sundry. Try to make with small batch first, see how it turns. Then you can do more. Hope it helps. Using onions/shallots means less quantity then required for given spices.
