It is a vegetable in indian kashmir.. grows underwater in lakes...you can ask any local of kashmir...i dont think its found anywhere else....drumsticks in english

Hum log kissi be achar may garlic ya sirkha nahi daltay hay. May khud Srinagar may gar kay leay har sal Kai kasem kay achar banata hun. Mix Veg, Nolkhul/Monge, Garlic, Marchi, Mushroom etc.

Using Vinegar destroyed its purpose. Its not fermented Achar because you used vinger in it.. What is the purpose of using other ingredients then.
