    I can relate to your friends,my transcript transmission got delayed by 2 months due to a clerical error from my uni. At least the delay gave me more time to look over my secondaries lol. I just started as a M1 at UPenn/Perelman, so it still worked out in the end.

      I took it the summer between sophomore and junior year! Mainly because quarantine was during that time and I was stuck at home anyways.

    i really enjoyed your video, it was super explanatory and helpful! could you please expand more in another video on your med school application list, how you shortlisted them, and which ones you got an interview for/got into? i feel like making a school list is pretty complex, and i'd love to see your take on it :)

      Hey Divya!! Glad it was helpful. Definitely a lot of things I would have done differently building my school list - can make another vid on it in the future!

      Most important thing is to do is keep up to date with lecture - once you start falling behind it can be hard to catch up. Also, if you don't understand something in your classes, go to your professor during office hours - they're usually more than willing to help. Finally, find a good group of friends to take the classes with, so you always have help going through it - good luck!!

    Volunteered as an EMT? How does that work? Meaning you’re a nationally certified EMT but they’re not paying you? Interesting…

    • @ArvindRajan
      @ArvindRajan  Рік тому +4

      EMT's are usually certified on a county level, but yeah, a lot of the time you need more training (AEMT or Paramedic) to run a call. The basic EMT level is usually more for people in transport or volunteer.

    youre telling me I have to put all my AP classes from high school in my amcas application???? are you serious? What?

    • @ArvindRajan
      @ArvindRajan  3 місяці тому

      Only if you are using those credits - I used them for my gen chems and gen bios so I had to report it

    • @skyllarkuppinger6751
      @skyllarkuppinger6751 3 місяці тому

      @@ArvindRajan how do I know if I'm using them for credits? They counted for some of my college requirements such as the American history/government requirement, and probably some other stuff too, but even tho I had a 5 in AP English I still took 1 full year of English/writing bc I was told med schools wanted it. My major was physiology so even tho I had AP chem credit I still took all the chem classes for my major. Does this mean I don't need to report any ap credit on my amcas app?

    • @ArvindRajan
      @ArvindRajan  2 місяці тому

      For me I brought all my AP credits into college so they all showed up on my college transcript. I’d recommend getting a copy of your college transcript and copying the classes on their verbatim
