Thank you so much for posting this!! I'm in month 4 of studying for the MCAT and I will be testing by next year, and l've been learning the question types and do my best to practice as many questions as possible. I watch a lot of videos here on UA-cam and with practice, practice, practice. It's nice to hear advice from Good teachers here on UA-cam who remembers that the struggle is real with this exam. Thank you again!! (Also, for the young ones worrying about not getting into Medical school soon...I'm 39 and will be 40 when (if accepted) I begin Medical school. Yup, I'm changing careers! So keep your head up, study and practice and remember you got this!)

The truth is some people are just good test takers, and others are not. I didnt study much but passed easily. I know people who studied a lot and didnt pass. The most improtant thing is to work on staying calm during the test, and confident. Come up with little sayings and ways to remember stuff just like MR Tony always told me. I made up phrases that only made sense to me to remember things.

PLEASE READ THE WHOLE COMMENT, OTHERWISE U WILL BE MISGUIDED So basically 1. The best colleges (all the AIIMS)in India u can get in by scoring between 695-720 that's it any score below 690 is a nightmare for a student who wants to get selected in AIIMS unless n until u have a caste certificate or physical disability certificate 2. Now any score between 560-689 will get u in a good GMC (govt medical colleges). They are also good but not better than AIIMS but some are. 3. 480 - 555 u will still get selected in a GMC but not really good. 4. Any score below 480 the student is not eligible for mbbs😢. But they can go for either BDS(dental) or any other course. IMP NOTE :- the score scale I mentioned Above is a temporary scale which changes every year n that depends upon the cutoff which the avg score of the whole exam set by the cumulative score of all the students. ALSO!! the most unfair thing in neet is the introduction of Caste certificate and PWD certificate (physical disability) and all different quota. With the help of these certificates, students who scored 338 can get into AIIMS (actual score scale is 695-720)

The advantage of medicine is that you become responsible for the end result of each task (treatment, surgery, etc.) while in computer science you are probably part of a system, you are not responsible for the end result of a whole system. This advantage of medicine is also its main disadvantage, since being responsible for the outcome of a treatment makes it more stressful in terms of the responsibility assumed.

I cant decide either. I have some friends in compsci and they are chilling at work and getting BANK with not that much effort (they told me themselves). Sure they are smart but i think compsci is a less work than medicine. Our healthcare system is just fucked and the working conditions are atrocious. I think helping people directly and seeing the results of your work in helping them is great. I also got accepted to medschool and loans arent an issue in my country so its basically down to what i see myself enjoying more. Its really tough!

But yeah, sir, Id just like to ask you something that how did you manage to appear for the mcat with humanities along with science,, I mean see it's obviously a bit tough right to mug up things, when you aren't in a touch with it for last 4 to 5 years ig
