- I have been transforming an old church to become my new woodworking shop. In this video I share some of the renovations that are underway to improve the facade of the building, create a retail area, and add infrastructure in the shop area. I also reveal the new business name, The Bristol Artisan Co. / bristolartisanco
A lot of folks have helped me get started with this dream by contributing money to my fundraiser or sweat to the project. If you would like to join them and become part of a close circle who have privileged access to the shop and to me then take a look at the link here:

Looking better each video.
Thanks Scruffy.
man I know its a lot of work but with the heart your putting into it, it can do nothing but succeed and inspire people.clearly your not just about you, you have a passion to give others an avenue to show their talents and even inspire others themselves, I feel this thing is going to become contagious and in turn create a snowball effect and over time this will become even more then you anticipated I am wishing you nothing but success I will be watching closely.
We are proud to of had the opportunity to meet you again. Working with David was awesome. Your shop will do great things for the city of Bristol. We are looking forward to our return trip
It was such a great visit. I am eager for the next time you are here and there isn't so much pressure to finish this building. We'll have a big ole time!
The changes you are making have already transformed that place! Wow it looks great. Keep up the good work buddy!
Thanks Tyler. Slow and steady....
Fred, I really enjoyed my 4 days in Bristol helping on this project. I would encourage anyone that can contribute time and/or money to the project to consider doing so. If you spend a few hours with Fred, you will find him to be both appreciative and sincere. I am trying to plan another trip down sometime in the next 3 to 4 weeks. Best Wishes my friend.
Thank you David. Having you here was not only beneficial in terms of work, it was also very good fellowship. I cherished both!
Nice sign. Keep up the hard work. It will be worth it.
Thank you Sue. It was so nice seeing yall the other day. I'm sorry I was so busy and hectic. Next time we'll visit for a while. :-)

Excellent video Fred and love watching the progress!
Thanks Jim. I like knowing yall are with me!
Great progress Freddie- you will do well - I have great friends in Johnson City - love the area and the arts in that area - keep the faith
Thanks Dave. I appreciate the kind thoughts. Tell you friends about the place and send them up when I open. I do hope you will find your way here one day!
Gate City native here - now living in Chicago. Really enjoying your content! Especially episode 100 and the Hob-Nob reference.
So nice to hear from you JB. My Granny lived in the Great City. On Park Street down by the rescue squad. My folks there were Williams'. I'd say you know some of them. Small world. And yes, the Hob Nob is the best ever. Stay in touch.
Really glad to see you have had some quality and skilled help to help you along with this so far. I hope the help keeps coming like that. Its looking great in there. Love that wood half wall in that one room, that is really nice. Wish I could do more than just write an encouraging comment but it's all I've got to offer. I , and Im sure many others, get what it is you are trying to do here and why we are rooting for you to succeed. It's not about just you, it is about so much more. Look forward to the next installment and seeing this thing flower out into your dream come true.
So nice to hear from you Micheal. I appreciate the kind thoughts. You've been along this journey for a long time man. You are one of the "long timers" on the channel. Your encouragement from afar is more than sufficient. It's all yall that drive me!
@@GotItMade yep, been with ya a while. I love what you do and how you present it. Dont see myself cuttin' off from it anytime soon, either. So you keep putting them out there and Ill be here to watch and try to help keep ya motivated! :)
I really enjoy your videos Feddie since the days you built your Pole Barn ... Glad God has seen fit to put you in contact with some great friends who are willing to help you financially and physically ... I can tell in your manner of speaking how joyful and blessed you are.
Take care and I'll be waiting on your next video.

Great job Freedy. Michelle and I had an awesome time working with David and yourself. We can wait to see what great projects your shop will create.
Y'all were great and gave me that room to look at for inspiration. So valuable!
It's been fun watching this place transform. I really enjoy the daily Instagram updates. Keep chasing that dream. It's a lot closer than you think.
Thanks Gary. I really appreciate you following along the journey!
Its great to see the progress you are making Fred. Its coming along nicely. It is my hope that one day soon, after the seemingly 5,000 crises we have in this country end, I will convince the Mrs' to pop in and visit the shop. Till then Fred we'll see you next episode.
So nice to hear from you Mike. Yes, I do want to see you here one day. Of course, with the way the world is going we'll probably have to weather an alien invasion before that can happen. :-). Stray healthy buddy.
Great video Feddie!
Thank you Cory. It is slow and steady. I do hope the world will settle down soon and we can re-plan your trip here. I'll give you a call soon to catch up.
Hi Fred. Wow! You have come a long way so far since getting this building. I wish my schedule would allow me to come work with you for about a month. Unfortunately, I'm in the middle of a remodel at my house at the moment. Take care my friend. God Bless and be safe.
Thanks Jeff. I'd love to have you and we'll make it happen one day. In the meantime it sounds like you have your hands full and very much understand how "taking one thing apart creates five more things to put back together". :-).
Best of luck to you my brother!!!! I wish I lived close by so that I can go by and give you a hand!! I love your new business name!!!
Thank you Danny. Encouragement from afar works too! :-)
Always need more outlets.... Keep it up. Good luck.

Thanks Jim. It was a big help and knocked a piece out of of the way. I have plenty to do still yet so I'll holler at you in a few days and see what your appetite is in the coming days. :-)
I’ve been wondering about this shop. Good to see you still up and working.
Thanks for checking in Walter. It has been slow and steady. Some days have more to show for than others but slowly grinding away. :-)
👍😜👍
Thanks PJ. :-)
Talk about a small world! Just stumbled across your channel from Bristol and loving the content! Any way you can put me in touch with your spray foam guy?
Hey Kev. I am sorry this reply is a month late. I have a hard time keeping up with all the channel comments. Anyway, the spray foam is Energy Savers in Piney Flats. Give Jeremiah a call and tell him I sent you. :-)
Love your videos. If the wife and I were to make you something, where should it be sent?
That'd be awesome Tim. Send me an email and I'll share that info. fred@redneckdiy.com
I just keep wondering how Knuckles got his name since he is a carpenter.
Hahaha. It's a long and torrid tale. :-). Thanks for watching Loco.
