I know this is a two-year-old video, but it's a real life saver! I'm having to replace this mount on a '98 LS400 (looks to be the exact same part) and really needed the details on how best to support the transmission and the steps to remove the mount. Good stuff!!

Recently changed mine. A word of warning to check your bolts. I did not notice that my M8 bolts for the mount to the trans were stretched and nearly broke them when torqueing them to spec. Once replaced it was a breeze. Less movement and far less noise. Next up are timing belt, valve cover seals and motor mounts.
There are so many more 300 videos than 400 videos about the sc. I have a 97 400 with 170,000 miles and I need to swap the same part. Please always let us know ow where you get your parts from
hey gaza i’ve got a 94 sc400 she clunks hard when going into reverse i also saw your idle issue video, where you unplugged the maf, i did the same, and it sounds chopped, is this an issue?
yes with the engine mounts and Maf needs changing because for the age of the car something you need to do is look into getting a rebuild ECU they go bad 100%

i hear a scratch noise on low acceleration as well as more vibration in the cabin, so you think this is transmission mounts?
