Thank you! The manual for this Nautilus is like 900pp plus there is a parameter manual of significant length as well! So videos like yours are most supremely appreciated.
Ppl need these videos, it shows how easy the Nautlilus and other Korgs are to sequence with. It might be that I've been in the korg ecosystem for 30+ yrs, but it's not as difficult as most make it out to believe. I personally need to start using the Sequencer more on my Nautlilus. I get carried away with spreading the parts out over the other boards.
Thank you Katie! The "copy a Combi into the sequencer" thing was driving me nuts. Now I know it's not just me. I never got why Korg made it this way. Thanks again!
I have Nord Yamaha plans and Korg keyboards, but by far I have found the least online support/tutorials for the Korg Nautilus. Good job on your tutorial. Keep up the good work. 😊
After watching some other videos today about this subject I stumbled across yours and was actually able to follow along somewhat. You did in fact keep it simple to which I am grateful. Will definitely come back if you venture into different aspects of this Nautilus. Thank you. I was almost ready to go back to my DAW this afternoon after being frustrated!
Katie, would you recommend the Nautilus as a good buy and worth investing in? They seem to have a loyal following but I’d like to know what you think as you teach yourself. I’ve never had a work station as such but lots of synths and digital pianos.
@@rosslevitates I love my Korg Nautilus, it was my most expensive purchase ever so I’m very grateful for it. My first and only experience producing music has been on my Korg nautilus, so I don’t have much expertise or knowledge of other work stations to compare it to to know if there’s better work stations out there or not. I’ve found the Korg Nautilus is very complicated and the instructions out there could be better, so it feels like a slow process understanding how to use it properly. However it’s very rewarding when I learn new ways to use it. I see the Korg Nautilus as a workstation that I’ll continuously be learning new things on for my entire life as it’s very complex. I think it’s worth it if you have the dedication and patience to learn how to use it properly over time, and if you enjoy the journey of learning and experimenting with music :)
@@katiegodwin4044 thanks heaps for such a thorough answer! I think it would be ideal for me so I need to get to city to try one out. I don’t mind the complexity as long as you can sense the progress or breakthrough moments. I reckon the sequencer is the bit I’d find hardest but also the most rewarding cause I want to put down music of the stages of life, specifically mine. Cheers, Ross.
Hello, you need an adapter chord to connect your iPad to the Korg. Then you need a software on your iPad to convert the Korg music to. I use the free software Audacity, then you can export the music off Audacity onto a flash drive😊
Hello, I'm just starting with the Korg company (previously Roland Fantom G and Yamaha Tyros 3,4). Currently, I have the Korg PA5X, which, for me, is intuitive-I managed it without using the manual. I'm considering purchasing the Nautilus. The question is, can you record vocals directly onto audio tracks using a microphone on the Nautilus, then combine it with a MIDI track, save it, and play back the complete recorded song (the whole song)?

Yes, this is the most in depth demo of the sequencer I've seen on all of UA-cam. Great job.

Katie, that was great! Being a learner too helps so much. Keep the slow pace, it works well!
Thank you for this video😊, would love more tips and tricks from Nautilus

Thank you! It makes me happy that my video was helpful! 😊☺️
Thanks very helpful 🎉
You can set the midi channels of the programs in different tracks to be the same if you want them to play at the same time.
Really glad you did this video. I was thinking of buying a Nautilus and wanted to see a real person using it - not a paid gear influencer.
Nice video! Still h8 Korg's sequencer. So obtuse but making it work.
This was a good "Quick Start" for me! Thank you. 🙂
Seen some musicians using an external screen with the nautilus. What could it possibly be used for?
happy owner of the Nautilus since May, I would like to know if there is a cue list function like on the Triton extreme or on the Krome ?

Dear friend! And can I record in this application from my Korg Nautilus to the iPad and then to the flash drive and how?.. thank you

Have you tried using the audio recorder. Was going to buy the Nautilus though bought the Akai mpc key.61 instead. Think i made the right choice
The Akai sound engine is shit by comparison to be fair and I say that as an Akai owner too.
Thanks for this, very helpful, only got my Nautilus a few days ago, and this video is better than the Korg one 🎉

Hello😊 I think there is a way to record vocals directly, I’m not sure how though
This really helped me, thank you for sharing 👍🏻
You have motivated me to explore & use this feature more. Well-done & keep creating.
