Korg Nautilus: Sequencer tutorial for beginners
Beautiful piece, beautiful performance, beautiful guitar rendition. Everything wonderful. A big like for you!!
Your left handed, nice playing, love that flamenco flavour ❤
🔥
Very nice flow! And wow ❤
Nice performance Cheers from Brazil o/
Moça, você tocou muito bem! Parabéns (: Espero que esse meu comentário em português traga outros brasileiros para cá para ouvirem essa música.
@@FernandoPosserPinheiro Obrigado!
Wow very skilled playing
@@JMPMusicOffical thank you🤍
Katie, that was great! Being a learner too helps so much. Keep the slow pace, it works well!
Beautiful, you are a multi talented artist :)
😮
happy owner of the Nautilus since May, I would like to know if there is a cue list function like on the Triton extreme or on the Krome ?
I have Nord Yamaha plans and Korg keyboards, but by far I have found the least online support/tutorials for the Korg Nautilus. Good job on your tutorial. Keep up the good work. 😊
Seen some musicians using an external screen with the nautilus. What could it possibly be used for?
After watching some other videos today about this subject I stumbled across yours and was actually able to follow along somewhat. You did in fact keep it simple to which I am grateful. Will definitely come back if you venture into different aspects of this Nautilus. Thank you. I was almost ready to go back to my DAW this afternoon after being frustrated!
Thank you! It makes me happy that my video was helpful! 😊☺️
Thank you! The manual for this Nautilus is like 900pp plus there is a parameter manual of significant length as well! So videos like yours are most supremely appreciated.
For understanding what melody is, I advise you to check what is called period and sentence in music.
You have motivated me to explore & use this feature more. Well-done & keep creating.
Yes, this is the most in depth demo of the sequencer I've seen on all of UA-cam. Great job.
Cool track, love the painting too!
great stuff!
Really like your work
radical
Do you make these with modular synth? The sounds in your tracks really remind me of rings or plaits
All sounds are motion synth sounds I’ve layered together on the Korg Nautilus😊
very cool
Nice video! Still h8 Korg's sequencer. So obtuse but making it work.
What an unpredictable piece. Very cool ideas.
This was really beautiful. Excellent piece. Nautilus is great. You may want to look into there synths I think there fm opsix synth may interest you, can create some really lucid sounds.
Very nice improv, Katie!!!
You can set the midi channels of the programs in different tracks to be the same if you want them to play at the same time.
i don't know what I'm looking at, but i LO VVEE IT!🫶🤔❤🥹
Is this created on your Nautilus?
Yep:)

always enjoy the conversation between abstract art and music.
Music so good, I want to to do a cyberspace overload with the special neuron anesthesiazer 9000 while downloading the new electromycelium based Zazabyte of some of that Octanian fento-RAM
Stuck on 9000 AND using fento-RAM instead of the far superior pento-RAM?! Amateurish.

Damnnnn the atmosphere is strong really awesome stuff
only a minute in, not sure if i like it or not yet but some serious stuff 👍
okay i think i like this
Hello, I'm just starting with the Korg company (previously Roland Fantom G and Yamaha Tyros 3,4). Currently, I have the Korg PA5X, which, for me, is intuitive-I managed it without using the manual. I'm considering purchasing the Nautilus. The question is, can you record vocals directly onto audio tracks using a microphone on the Nautilus, then combine it with a MIDI track, save it, and play back the complete recorded song (the whole song)?
Hello😊 I think there is a way to record vocals directly, I’m not sure how though
Reminds me of music from the original Ratchet and Clank game
Beautiful ❤, do you play it yourself? Or use AI techniques to generate it?
Thank you❤️ I composed the music myself, and put it together using the Sequencer on the Korg Nautilus workstation😊
@@katiegodwin4044thank you beautifully rendered
sooo sickk, dark in like a dynamic kinda searching way, and the art is a hard af compliment, good shit
to me at least - maybe I just need more sleep lol
Thank you!🖤
Yeah this is my kind of weird
Would you mind sharing a little about the process? Is the composition itself generated with the help of AI? Just curious. Thank you!
Thank you for your interest! It’s not generated with the help of AI, I produced the song on my Korg Nautilus mixing together and distorting lots of different motion synth sounds. It is inspired by a prompt engineering AI project I’ve been working on, the sounds for me remind me of the intriguing way the AI’s mind works, and the connection and interaction of sounds is like a metaphor for its unique thought processes
Thank you! I love the slow modulations against the frenzied glitchy textures. @@katiegodwin4044
interesting :)
Thank you Katie! The "copy a Combi into the sequencer" thing was driving me nuts. Now I know it's not just me. I never got why Korg made it this way. Thanks again!
Really glad you did this video. I was thinking of buying a Nautilus and wanted to see a real person using it - not a paid gear influencer.
Thanks very helpful 🎉
Have you tried using the audio recorder. Was going to buy the Nautilus though bought the Akai mpc key.61 instead. Think i made the right choice
Dear friend! And can I record in this application from my Korg Nautilus to the iPad and then to the flash drive and how?.. thank you
Hello, you need an adapter chord to connect your iPad to the Korg. Then you need a software on your iPad to convert the Korg music to. I use the free software Audacity, then you can export the music off Audacity onto a flash drive😊
Ppl need these videos, it shows how easy the Nautlilus and other Korgs are to sequence with. It might be that I've been in the korg ecosystem for 30+ yrs, but it's not as difficult as most make it out to believe. I personally need to start using the Sequencer more on my Nautlilus. I get carried away with spreading the parts out over the other boards.
