    I appreciate you guys making this video! I have a 4 week old German Shepherd puppy who has been diagnosed with megaesophogus. I had no idea what was wrong with her and the first few weeks of her life she was fine then out of nowhere she would puke everytime she attempted to eat and or drink. She is very happy and spunky and even through it all. I feel very overwhelmed and unsure of this illness and I do feel that I'm fighting the inevitable but its definitely refreshing to see that it can be managed. Thanks tons!.

    I just want to say thank you. My dog was diagnosed one week ago today. You two are by far the most hopeful, honest and down to earth I've found on UA-cam. Every video you've made has helped me calm myself and learn something.

    Thank you for this video. My 13mo old pit was just diagnosed with this today. I am 8mo pregnant and have been so upset. The vet did exploratory surgery on her last week because of her symptoms and didn't find anything. I took her for a second opinion today because she is no better and the vet said she has ME. I feel horrible because now she has had an unnecessary surgery. I've paid $4000 in a vet bill. They suggested I put her down bc of this diagnosis but I just refuse. I refuse to give up on her. 😔❤️

    My daughter and I appreciate you guys and your pup for sharing your story. My daughters pup was recently diagnosed 2 weeks ago. We were feeling helpless, we thought our 3 year old pit named Azinith was going to die. We were heartbroken and scared and we had many sleepless nights fearing she would choke . You've provided us with comfort and many helpful tips. Thank you so much!!

    In the 1970's we had a llasa apso who was diagnosed with this same thing at 4 months. Didn't have You Tube back then & vets didn't know much about it. We devised our own way of hand feeding him while standing up on his hind legs. Drinking water was a problem but he was able to keep enough water down to be hydrated. Had 4 loving years before crossing the rainbow bridge. Good to see where there's a will, there's a way & we'll go to any extent for our furry family members.

    Thank you so much for this video I've not taken Redd to vet yet to be diagnosed but I have a 11 and 1/2 year Rhodesian Ridgeback and he is my EVERYTHING!!! I've been dealing with this for about 3 weeks maybe longer and everything in your videos rings true to what I'm dealing with with my baby boy Redd❤️ we have his annual scheduled for this coming Monday but I think I'm going to send this video to my vet first to let her know that this is what I truly believe is going on with my baby boy. I'm going to research some more I just wanted to thank you and your beautiful wife for sharing this valuable information to all of us who love our dogs. God bless you both! 🙏❤️🙏

    Thank you so much for these videos! My 9 wk. old German Shepherd was diagnosed a week ago. Your videos have been so helpful! And I want to add that he is SO CUTE sitting back there so patiently watching Dad make this video. My Kaspar is a little irritable about having to sit in his chair for so long. Sometimes he falls asleep but mostly he wants DOWN.

    We just adopted a mega E puppy yesterday who was abandoned in the street at 3 months old because he was poorly. This video has been so helpful! Our Bailey chair arrives on Sunday and atm we are elevating him to eat and then holding him in an upright cuddle position afterwards! But even at 3 months old he weights 7kg because he’s a GSD. We are taking it in turns but have sore arms already 😂 but it’s worth it. We’ve not had any puke or regurge in our first 24 hours so we must be doing something right? Is your dog hungry all of the time? Or is ours because he wasn’t cared for properly before? We have another GSD and we were wondering about the water situation. ATM the bowl is elevated and Koby can’t reach but as he grows I can see it becoming problematic. I don’t want to withhold water from Max, but I don’t want Koby aspirating because he’s drunk Max’s water. We were told to get thickener for the water which is coming tomorrow, but doesn’t Koby still need to use his chair for that?
    Sorry for the questions but I’m trying to learn fast

    Our mini Dachshund was just diagnosed. He is 2.6 years old.
    Was curious if yours was on any medication? And if you’re had trouble walking ?

    My dog has spinal stenosis in the Thoracic area. Do you think this is causing the problem 🤔? I'm giving Subcutaneous fluid to her daily. Vet thinks may be Myasthenia Gravis, tumor or addisons disease. This video gives me hope. 🙏

    Thank you for all your Information😊I’m new at this and I do panic when she starts gagging or choking ! So I have had her about a month 1/2 and the last 3 weeks she has not lost her food but she still gags and chokes but she is eating but I hold her and burp her like a baby sometimes she gags and sometimes she don’t 😊But should I put her in her chair and feed her? When I got her she weighed 2 pounds she is a small Shih Tzu I am trying so hard to keep her weight up she has gained 1 pound now 😊She is fragile in size but she now runs when I take her out with my other 4 leg baby❤I do need all the help I can get😊I do give her goat milk and she tolerates it well❤ Any suggestions I would love! Thank you

      @@Hoebafett Hey I just adopted a 3 year old corgi who has ME. Any tips for corgi ME you have found really works?

    • @Hoebafett
      @Hoebafett 3 роки тому

      @@zaneaquil4603 we currently hold our dude over our shoulder for his feedings and upright time. He’s still growing so we aren’t investing in a chair yet and it works well enough, especially since corgis aren’t very big. My biggest tip is that they can have baby cereal as treats without upright time, since they’re very food motivated finding a treat was very helpful

    What’s the best food to feed them if they can’t eat hard kibble

    • @nancychandler3673
      @nancychandler3673 2 роки тому

      I blend kibble with canned salmon and sweet potatoes add a bit of honey. Roll into balls then cool in fridge. The balls of food are heavy enough to enter the stomach
