My sweet baby girl Sadie died in front of me while I was holding her up to receive her medication the same day the Vet sent me home telling me she had megaesophagus. I have never been more devastated . . . you love them so much, I would have done all that for Sadie.
Hey this is a great video! I have watched tons of these thank you for giving these dogs a chance at life! You should try putting a pool noodle over that pvc pipe just to make it a little bit more comfy for the furbabys!

With today's advancement in technology I'm sure it's something better then what they have now. I say that because this standing position can lead to a host of other problems as time goes by. Have you guys researched and considered a RAW diet for these babies!! I do understand it can be expensive but also look into dehydrated raw foods for dogs. Example Embark dog foods. I do wish you all the best!!

Je me considère chanceuse car cela suffit. Il faut parfois recommencer les 15mn assis, mais dans l ensemble ça va pour nous. Cependant il a du mal avec les croquettes si elles ne sont pas ramollies avec de l'eau ou avec un bouillon. Le reste du temps ces chiens peuvent avoir une vie normale, c'est l'essentiel.

Flat3arth III Chairs are one of the ways the dog can swallow the food properly. The esophagus is used to bring the food into the stomach. But in this case the dog's esophagus is paralyzed and the esophagus can't bring the food all the way to the stomach. So if the dog is standing up. It's easier for the dog can eat because the food can go to the dogs esophagus to the stomach by gravity.
Our dog was diagnosed with the same condition these dogs have, food becomes trapped in their enlarged and non working esophagus that doesn't move it down into the stomach naturally so we have to have the dogs eating upright so gravity moves their food down into their guts otherwise it comes up and is regurgitated. Really really challenging condition to deal with. The chairs that these folks built are great and we are looking into one for our dog who can't keep any food or water down and has lost so much weight. Very sad and tough condition to watch.
Why are you putting water in the food????????? That dog should get raw. Why do you put them in chairs thats not natural. Thats terable your dogs are going to get neck and back problems. Its like they are trapped to eat you should trap your self to eat
