The entire Dharma is important. To me the Lotus Sutra is our guide in this Samsara. It's heals guides guards etc. Expedient means are /is the rain that waters' us according to our understanding. The Buddha knows us all. Lord Buddha is within.
I appreciate your close attention to this important point. It is truly hard, isn't it? Especially someone who seems to be the opposite of a kind person in our life surely does not look like s/he is a bodhisattva who lives the life of the Buddha, the nature of all of our life. But I want to show my admiration toward your excellent attitude: You acknowledging this difficulty means that you are admitting that you are unable to do so as you expect and willing to improve yourself so as to someday realize this goal, right? This is truly wonderful. In the Lotus Sutra, as the pinnacle chapter 16 states, your desire for achieving the goal of "believing and understanding in the innermost heart" is how you have already planted the "roots of goodness" that leads you to your Buddhahood. In other words, only because you are currently feeling this difficulty, you are walking on the bodhisattva way that is unique to you. Only because you have this particular struggle, there is a particular audience who will learn the spirit of Buddhist wisdom from you. Hence, having this challenge is how you are embodying your bodhisattva life. Achieving the goal is a provisional purpose. The truth about that purpose is to endlessly enjoy rather the process of attempting to reach the goal. Good luck! Thanks for your encouraging comments here and there. 🙏
@@AwakenYourInnerBuddha thanks for the back encouragement. I am slowly but surely treading the path although i shy away from calling it a bodhisatvva path. the b word feels heavy for me^^. I learnt a lot about the lotus sutra from your channel. It was too heavy for me because I'm a conservative heart sutra kind of guy, but your delivery helps me open my heart to the lotus sutra. Hopefully you reach 1k subs soon enough and reach wider audience and create more buddhahood engineers (in master xuan hua's words^^).
Thanks for your attention to an important point discussed in this video! By saying that every single moment of our experience becomes a "temple", I ventured to make an abnormal claim that the place for our Buddhist practice should not be confined to activities conducted in temples. Such place should extend to all aspects of our everyday life by going beyond temples.
Q. What do you think about Chapter 17?

@@subrotoxing8214 Always wonderful to hear from you. Thanks for your good wishes!
Are we defining temple as something other than a location for study and/or interacting with sangha / lay people?
