How I made my Haku mask from Naruto. This is my first attempt with paper mache and making a mask (don't judge me! T^T). It costed approximately $10 to make, took about 2 hours, and weighs less than 50g. It is made with a basic papermache base covered in paper clay. Alternatively, you may use airdry clay. However, it will be heavier so it is great for displaying but not for cosplay. If you will be using it for cosplay I suggest you find some paperclay on the internet or from craftstores (I bought mine from Spotlight).
    - Ratio of glue to water I used is 1:1 (eg. one cup of glue and one cup of water).
    - I used the tissue paper for tracing. You can draw it onto the paperclay directly if you want. But you can't make a mistake because you can't erase it.
    - To wear it, simply buy a plain headband that is the same colour as your hair and use a hot glue gun to attach it to the mask.

This was actually pretty decent. I'm not looking to do a Naruto cosplay but i did need to find out how I would make a simple round mask. Your video fits the bill. It was just more specified towards the character your doing.

I didn't use air clay but I have made a paper mache no face mask and if you haven't you should totally make one... definitely worth it... now I'm thinking about making another adding the clay... but I just did several layers to thicken the mask up slightly and painted it with gesso and then acrylics... I also added black sunglass lenses behind the eye holes and sculpted a mouth more or less with masking tape which I then paper mached and painted and wore on my chest. I made a special flap in my black robes to expose the mouth or not. And wore long arm length black gloves with extended fingers. I also added straps to the mask, black to blend with the hood and robes.
