And I immediately thought about Claudia from "Interview with the Vampire" 1994 as a creepy little girl vampire, not only she could be evil or a villain, she's just out of control with her feeding habits, and has some tempers to kill piano teachers.

Same. It’s a sign at how good the film is that it made me so angry and upset at it. I will NEVER watch it again! I tell anyone who’s thinking of watching it to be mentally prepared, both for their personal trauma that could be affected but also the trauma the film will leave you with! Brilliant film but utterly infuriating.

The bleakness of there probably being no justice or even knowledge of what happened because it was covered up, unless someone kept evidence and went to the police, no one will ever know what happened. It’s just a film, but we’ve seen increasingly more aberrant behaviour happening in real life! Who’s to say that something like this hasn’t already happened, multiple times over, in the world and we will never know. The film has such a guttural effect because of how horrifyingly probable a scenario it is. I truly hope that it has never and will never happen, but sadly I feel that’s just wishful thinking.

Isaac was very terrifying in a lot of ways. The actor who portrays him (John Franklin( later goes the opposite direction by portraying a homeless special needs young man in a great two hour/two part story of the series *_Highway to Heaven_* . The fact that there will be no sequel to *_Brightburn_* is beyond a good thing. Lastly, Damian Thorn is a very realistic representation of one way that the Antichrist could rise to power. The two young men in the first movies (Harvey Spencer Stephens and Jonathan Scott-Taylor respectively) did very well, but Sam Neil was absolutely chilling as an adult Damien.
Samantha Eggar is SUBLIME in The Brood. Her rage was so freaking palpable. The offspring were so TERRIFYING as well. Needless to say I love this flick.

I love how when watching her psych ward interviews for the first time, it seems as if she's a helpless little girl. But on the second watching, you realize what she's saying is more ominous and matter of fact. "I hurt people, and it won't stop " (paraphrasing here), isn't a cry for help. It's a statement and a warning.
