The way they both get a distant look and smile, independently, whilst thinking about how they met is incredibly wholesome and heart-warming to me. Also great editing etc etc etc.
Confront the past is my favorite card from the set, in terms of flavor. The fact that it’s a lesson, indicating that this time it’s Liliana learning something instead of the students. The fact that the art in the mirror is the art from Gideon’s Sacrifice, but flipped as though we are looking at its reflection. It’s just wonderful.
They've spoken about it before. Graham was passing obscene notes and jokes with someone in the cafe and Kathleen intercepted one, wrote one foul joke and bam here they are now.
I loved the reminiscing about college newspapers that led to a Mad Libs booster game! It’s this kind of genuine interactions that I enjoy the most from your content :)
This is pretty much my first exposure to LRR (I know, I know...) But this was so pleasant to watch. I love the chiller pace, talking about the cards as they go and just having fun! Something so simple but so enjoyable
26:37 I've heard the full story many times through the magic of recordings but it's still so heartwarming and hilarious to hear it and in particular this time being somewhat bashful about it
I just started playing magic back in January, and am loving y'all's content! Gentle explanations and yet cool info on collectability and playability of cards!
I love this, they are both awesome play of each other, but it needed a "pun-combo" counter when they chained the the 3-4 puns with Rimbjob. Also thanks Cori, the editing was brilliant
Don’t know if anyone’s mentioned this before, but the new Snarls aren’t technically new! They’re a continuation of the cycle from Shadows Over Innistrad (Choked Estuary, Foreboding Ruins Fortified Village, Game Trail, Port Town) but in the enemy colours this time. Also I’m so mad because I keep seeing people open Beledross Witherbloom and I want a copy of him SO BAD
Kathleen and Graham's relationship dynamic makes this video so much better to me. Just two nerds that the most important thing to them is just to make themselves laugh so hard that the other either starts laughing too or dead pan stares into the camera.
I don't really have any complaints, I think these box opening videos are super sweet and it's awesome watching Kathleen and Graham just packing crack.. I mean cracking packs together, so I think I want to bring up something dumber. It's kind of insane that every time someone does a video on Magic the Gathering, UA-cam thinks it is very helpful to remind us of 1997's Magic: The Gathering PC game that I doubt any single person has played since 1997.
I was on a tour of a perfume factory in Southern France back in the day. For reasons. But apparently they hire people called noses. They apparently have special smelling abilities. However, I’ve never had a sense of smell. So I can only imagine what the smell of a fresh pack of cards is like. Unfortunately they don’t make hearing aids for noses.
@@LRRMTG GASP, this literally made my year! Thank you 🥰 Everytime it comes out I listen to QWERPLINE on my way to work as if it was a real radio channel. Also I got into MTG 2-3 yrs ago thanks to Friday night! Keep up the amazing work 🤗❤️
Bylaw and Order makes a lot of sense every time Kathleen talks a bit more about her college newspaper xD I'm hoping we get some Strixhaven D&D time on Dice Friends as the school newspaper must track down leads on stories
Burrog Befuddler and Jade Avenger have made me want to make an anthropomorphic frog deck, but I think those are the only anthropomorphic frogs that exist.
Thank you for the low-energy content. This is exactly what I needed while going through the side effects of my vaccine. It’s making my day markedly better
I feel the fact that Graham was not sure if there were mystical archive cards in collector boosters is a triumph of Wizards working to obscure specific card content and expected value in their products. (also, turns out super smellers are simply called 'noses.')
All of the elders of this set scream "Hey I'm a dragon" cause of the lower rarity cards that care about dragons. All DTK up in this with multiple references to dragons in text :)
The way they both get a distant look and smile, independently, whilst thinking about how they met is incredibly wholesome and heart-warming to me. Also great editing etc etc etc.
Met while Kathleen was dating someone else lol
Adorable nerds
Man these are always paced and edited so well, it really helps keep me engaged with this content
Thank you!
@@LRRMTG you do read!
Graham and Kathleen talking about how they met doing their school newspapers in university was adorable.
It’ll always be one of my favorite stories about the LRR cast
"You can talk about how annoyed you are in the comments" ... "please engage with our content."
I have been bested.
Confront the past is my favorite card from the set, in terms of flavor. The fact that it’s a lesson, indicating that this time it’s Liliana learning something instead of the students. I freely admit: I laughed at “de spark to de planeswalker.”
The "pringled" foils are SOOO much easies to dip in guacamole
Kathleen's chaotic energy is always delightful
I love how they pulled jokes out of their pestilent cauldrons
Can we have a “don’t go into the necroblosom snarl” pin?
Graham and Kathleen origin story!
They've spoken about it before. Graham was passing obscene notes and jokes with someone in the cafe and Kathleen intercepted one, wrote one foul joke and bam here they are now.
Passing obscene jokes using magic cards xD
I loved the reminiscing about college newspapers that led to a Mad Libs booster game! It’s this kind of genuine interactions that I enjoy the most from your content :)
Okay, okay, guess I'll engage with a great piece of content
To whomever made each card oriented perfectly in the frame in post, I notice and acknowledge your effort!
The Dean of Substance is wearing a "weed" outfit, its now definitely a school run by Hasbro.
This is pretty much my first exposure to LRR (I know, I know...) But this was so pleasant to watch. I love the chiller pace, talking about the cards as they go and just having fun! Something so simple but so enjoyable
Thank you!
@@LRRMTG What? They actually reply to comments? Must be a Snow Day at the Moonbase.
Really enjoying the box opens on the channel. Super chill and very...engaging. Thanks for the content, as always.

That fact that they met at a newspaper convention is so amazing literally the coolest people
I love this, they are both awesome play of each other, but it needed a "pun-combo" counter when they chained the the 3-4 puns with Rimbjob.
Also thanks Cori, the editing was brilliant
You guys are easily the most entertaining people to watch open boxes. Thank you!!!

@ing myself to correct *her - turns out Beledros is a lady -_-
The Pestilent Cauldron killed me! too funny!
What engaging content they've provided! And awww, origin story
always impressed by the production value of everything put out by lrr!
I feel that your anecdote about your respective school newspapers brought us closer to you both. Thank you for sharing.
This was fantastic. Cori did a really good job with the editing.
the frustrated asmr got me more than I care to admit. Nice work presenting this and props to editing
Commenting for engagement because I love watching box openings and LRR, so this is the perfect video. Also, I love Kathleens commitment to the chaos!
I very much enjoy these videos! Thank you for making them!
Recently MTG has been saturated with alt-art stuff but the mystical archives and Japanese alts really hit it!!!!
(Except for faithless looting)
I feel like they really hit it out of the park with the art for Strixhaven in general, but yeah, the archives are just gorgeous!
Love watching magic content when the people making it are sincerely enjoying themselves. Thanks Graham and Kathleen
Lol you two are treasures on your own but together.. together you’re two treasures! Double treasure!
Kathleen and Graham's relationship dynamic makes this video so much better to me. Just two nerds that the most important thing to them is just to make themselves laugh so hard that the other either starts laughing too or dead pan stares into the camera.
"Yeah, alright" - Stark, 2021
OMG Graham was at the Martlet?? I chilled with so many of those folks at NASH. God I love BC student newspapers
Well edited and fun it's always a good time watching some LRR content
These are always so relaxing and fun to watch, I hope he get these well into the future!
I don't really have any complaints, I think these box opening videos are super sweet and it's awesome watching Kathleen and Graham just packing crack.. I mean cracking packs together, so I think I want to bring up something dumber.

My goodness what a plethora of strix content! Thanks LRR!
Responding to a call to action, I happily engage with this content.
I love this cute post-baby, double date with my friends I haven't seen in a while. That's the vibe I got here. lol
This has everything. Art appreciation, games and new games, a little something for the five year olds, that spicy ASMR (and normal ASMR).
Engagement has been requested! I always enjoy listening to G and Kathleen talk about stuff and/or things
These are super chill and really enjoyable to watch!
May fav couple on the internet!
Love all your content
Thank you! Yes, and yes!

Y'all are great. Thanks for the good times.
I really really love having Graham and Kathleen just shoot the shit and get excited over cards.
Would love to see more pack craving videos you guys always make it so entertaining.
Telling the story of a pack as you open it, oh that takes me back.
Thank you for this; gave me something very enjoyable to listen to while sorting the contents of the booster box I opened.
I appreciate the profound call ot action. Likewise I appreciate the method of opening boosters. Keep on doing you guys!
6:27 Oh, good. I was afraid they had pringled in the weeks since opening, but I'm glad to see that's not an issue
Yes!!! Also question, will you be able to do more crack-a-box videos for future sets? @LRRMTG
KING GIZZARD!!!!! Super awesome to see the gizzard rep
I cannot get over the hilarious visual of an iPhone mounted on this B E E F Y tripod, 10/10
I really appreciate the casual pun-fighting at the end. Showing how much they really do like each other.
I swear I never noticed the line between rules and flavour text until Graham talked about the portal card
Burrog Befuddler and Jade Avenger have made me want to make an anthropomorphic frog deck, but I think those are the only anthropomorphic frogs that exist.
You always ask me to engage, but you never bring a ring.
Magic art is just so nice to look at. Buying packs and just ripping them to appreciate how good they look. Engaging!!!
I've recently learned that it is often LOW humidity that causes curling, not high humidity.
Engaged with this fun little pack content. Great to put on in the background while sleeving the new commander precon
I like Pringles. We have paprika flavoured ones in the UK, they slap!
I sure enjoy Kathleen's chaotic openings! It inspired me to engage with this content.
Okay. The Kathleen Surprise-Burp ASMR was excellent.
Also: E N G A G I N G
The quality content is approaching! Engage the engagement!
Thank you for the low-energy content. This is exactly what I needed while going through the side effects of my vaccine. It’s making my day markedly better
I, too, appreciate the distinct scents of different card sets.
Always happy to see stuff like dis
I feel the fact that Graham was not sure if there were mystical archive cards in collector boosters is a triumph of Wizards working to obscure specific card content and expected value in their products. (also, turns out super smellers are simply called 'noses.')
Excellent, as always.
Engaging as requested.
I'm loving how a lot of these foils actually look!
You two are having way to much fun
I'm really enjoying these Kathleen and Graham React to the set videos
That's a great way to describe The List: "Hmm..that's an interesting choice."
Objection! Some of us think the Amonkhet Invocations look bad in paper too!
I have engaged with the content
I don't wanna watch anyone that's NOT Kathleen and Graham opening a Magic Booster ever again.
The smell version of a super taster is a super sniffer, he's a fictional character, but Gus from Psych has one.
Remembering of how people met is clearly the beginning of engagement
11:51 ... with an oaky finish and hints of elderberry...
I enjoy Kathleen's sense of humor so much
Every time someone talks about opening TSR boosters, I briefly think they've already gotten access to the upcoming D&D set.
I am engaging with your content because you asked so nicely.
I feel like "Xylene Afterthought" is a band Kathleen would listen to.
is there a struxhaven nicknames page up yet. I looked and could not find anything.
Loved the vid LRR!
Loving these crack a boxes
During the second story article "Lessons", we find out the Beledros Witherbloom is a lady dragon like Dramoka, Atarka, and Kolaghan from Tarkir.
I sure do love engaging with your content
Kathleen dabbing for Teferi's Protection just feels right.
That gemstone mine is a reprint of a reprint! Wizards what are you doing?!
We need more archive style boosters in future sets!
Pringles got a good laugh out of me.
All of the elders of this set scream "Hey I'm a dragon" cause of the lower rarity cards that care about dragons. All DTK up in this with multiple references to dragons in text :)
No I'm not suffering from Stockholm syndrome over Dragon's Approach and thus wish to find a means of highlighting its upside, why do you ask?
Do more Crack-A-Boxes between pre-pre-releases, especially sets with set boosters (so only a few)
This is for the algorithm. LOL. Love the content though guys, can't wait for more vampire the masquerade.
